𝐍𝐈𝐀 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝟏𝟐𝟔𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲

This June 12, 2024, the 126th Anniversary of the Philippine Independence Day, let us commemorate the valor of all Filipino heroes who fought against the Spaniards to redeem our right to enjoy our freedom and independence.

By virtue of Presidential Proclamation No. 28, issued by then-president Diosdado Macapagal on May 12, 1962, Independence Day is celebrated every 12th day of June in observance of the Philippine Declaration of Independence from the Spanish Government which took place in Kawit, Cavite on June 12, 1898.

NIA Top Management Officials, headed by Administrator Engr. Eduardo Eddie G. Guillen, view the event as a reminder for us to treasure our history and sovereignty. It is an inspiration for every NIAn to fight for the well-being of the farmers for social welfare and increase yield for them.

Together, let us use the freedom that we enjoy to put first what is beneficial for the nation and to contribute in the attainment of for the Filipinos.
