LTO REGION 7 - PLATE DISTRIBUTION HUB FINALLY OPENS TO THE PUBLIC
As part of the directive of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" R. Marcos to expedite the distribution of license plates to owners, DOTr Secretary Vivencio 'Vince' B. Dizon and LTO Assistant Secretary Vigor D. Mendoza II strictly ordered the delivery of plates to concerned regions who will now become plate distribution hubs for several regions such as in the case of Region 7. With the availability of plates in the LTO plate hub, this region can now cater to clients in Region 6, 7 and 8 who accessed the LTO Plate Tracker (https://ltotracker.com) and even walk-ins for the mandatory reissuance of newly assigned motorcycle plates assigned or initially processed at the aforementioned regions.
LTO Region 7’s Plate Distribution Hub is currently located in Brgy. San Isidro, Talisay City, Cebu (beside Cebu South Medical Center), and will cater to the following plate transactions -
Motorcycles with temporary plates with the following conditions:
(a) Motorcycles with initial registration in CY 2017 and below (as indicated in the Certificate of Registration); and
(b) Motorcycles currently using 7-character plates (e.g., GA 12345 format)
Before proceeding to LTO7 Plate Distribution Hub, secure first the following requirements prior to Plate Reissuance:
1.) Photocopy of their Certificate of Registration (CR) and Official Receipt (OR) and one (1) valid government-issued ID (present original and submit one photocopy).
1.1.) For 2nd owners (not yet transferred): photocopy of Notarized Deed of Sale and one (1) valid government-issued ID of both vendor and vendee.
1.2.) For authorized representatives: original signed authorization letter from the registered owner and one (1) valid government-issued ID of both the representative and the registered owner (present original and submit one photocopy of each).
1.3.) For company vehicles: original Secretary's Certificate and a photocopy of the authorized representative's ID.
We also inform the public that All District/Extension Offices, MVIC, E-Patrol and New Registration Unit in Region 7 will only cater motorcycles registered within the region with 07-beginning MV File Number.
