The Provincial Government of Davao del Norte, through the office of the Assistant Provincial Administrator for Operations (APAO) and the Davao del Norte Investment Promotion Center, conducted the Multi-Sectoral Forum on GreenBridge Partnership: MOA Drafting and Consultation, Friday, 22 May 2026.
The forum brought together representatives from PGO, PAGRO, PEO, PEEDO, PADOโEWDD, and PADOโCDD, along with development partners and private sector stakeholders, to strengthen collaboration between the local government and private sector in advancing agribusiness development, investment promotion, and PPP-aligned initiatives in the province.
In his opening message, Atty. Ralph P. dela Cruz, LtCol PA (Ret), Provincial Administrator, emphasized the importance of strong Public-Private Partnership in advancing sustainable development and improving public service delivery. He underscored that the overarching goal of the initiative is to further uplift the lives of farmers and rural communities in Davao del Norte.
Key presentations were delivered by Mr. Wendel Ferido of Umahan International Inc. and Mr. Khin Mark Tiongson of GreenBridge Corporation, who highlighted their respective partnership frameworks and potential investment opportunities for the province.
Among the key initiatives presented were GreenBridge Corporationโs โPlant a Tree, Adopt a Family, and Build a Lifeโ program, which promotes environmental stewardship alongside community support, and Umahan International Inc.โs initiatives on strengthening farmer support through market linkage and international matching assistance.
This activity served as the second installment in the series of multi-sectoral engagements, facilitated by Assistant Provincial Administrator for Operations Arturo Jr. B. Manigo, MBA, RA, EnP, following the Private Sector Engagement Forum: Opportunities for High Value Investment held on 26 March 2026.
