Metro Manila, including Taguig City, is now under a Yellow Heavy Rainfall Warning. Light to moderate, occasionally heavy rains are currently being experienced across the city and may persist over the next two to three hours.

Some low-lying areas may start to see minor ponding or shallow flooding, especially if drainage is poor.

Traffic might move slower than usual during downpours.

Extra caution is necessary in flood-prone areas and along roads that tend to collect water during downpours.

As of the latest available data, Tropical Cyclone (PILANDOK) maintains its strength as it moves west-northwestward over the sea east of extreme Northern Luzon while remaining far from the Philippine landmass. It is forecast to intensify into a tropical storm. It is unlikely to make landfall or directly affect the country and is forecast to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Tropical Depression β€œSAUDEL” (formerly OBET) and a second Tropical Depression are being monitored outside the PAR. LPA 08M is also being monitored outside the PAR and has a medium chance of developing into a Tropical Depression within the next 24 hours.

At present, no Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal is expected to be raised in Metro Manila. As of 5:00 PM, the city remains outside the coverage of any Heavy Rainfall Warning or Rainfall Advisory.

Over the next 12 hours, the city may experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat)
