Research Proposal Presentation of BLIS 3A, held on November 21, 2025, at the BLIS Room 7, Tagoloan Community College. The 3rd year BLIS students of BLIS 3A formally presented their research proposals, showcasing comprehensive and well developed studies aimed at contributing to the continuous advancement of the Bachelor of Library and Information Science program. Each research proposal! demonstrated strong academic effort, critical thinking, and innovative perspectives aligned with the evolving needs of the LIS field.

This proposal underscores the student's dedication to promoting program development, strengthening scholarly practice, and supporting evidence based improvements within the BLIS community. The major features of their work highlight their commitment as future information professionals to shaping a more responsive and progressive library and information environment.

The 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙇𝙞𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙨 proudly celebrates a historic achievement as all of its examinees in the 𝙇𝙞𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙨 𝙇𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙀𝙭𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝑳𝑳𝑬) held on 𝙎𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝟰 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, successfully passed the board exam marking a 𝟏𝟎𝟎% 𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕-𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒓𝒔. This remarkable milestone reflects not only the commitment of the students but also the unwavering dedication of the faculty and administration to uphold academic excellence.

The Librarians Licensure Examination, administered by the 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒇𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑹𝒆𝒈𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 (𝑷𝑹𝑪), is known for its rigor in assessing the knowledge and skills of aspiring librarians across core areas such as library science, information technology, research methods, and administration. Yet, despite its challenges, the graduates of 𝑻𝒂𝒈𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒂𝒏 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒖𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒆 rose to the occasion, proving their competence and perseverance.

This success is a testament to the college’s dynamic and high quality education program, which blends theoretical foundations with practical training, preparing students to meet the demands of their profession with confidence and integrity. It is also a reflection of a learning community where faculty, mentors, and students work hand-in-hand in pursuit of excellence.

The Society of Library and Information Specialists proudly congratulates the success of its Library and Information Science passers, as all 4 BLIS passers successfully cleared the 2025 Librarians’ Licensure Examination as first takers, achieving a 100% overall performance rate. The results, released on September 8, 2025, highlight the dedication and perseverance of the passers, as well as the guidance and support of the faculty, led by our very own College Dean, Dr. Romel U. The Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) 2nd Year students of Tagoloan Community College successfully held a stage play performance at Room 7 facilitated by Ma'am Jessica Caubat, showcasing not only their talent and creativity, but also their ability to convey powerful narratives through the art of stage play. The event served as a platform for the students to express their ideas, values, and emotions while honing their communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

Each performance reflected the students’ dedication and discipline, as well as the guidance and support provided by their instructors and peers. Through compelling storytelling and expressive portrayals, the BLIS students demonstrated their capacity to engage an audience, challenge perspectives, and spark meaningful reflection.

This activity is a testament to the holistic formation promoted by the BLIS program — developing both intellectual and creative capabilities essential for future information professionals. Congratulations to all the performers and organizers for a successful and inspiring event. 🎥 🫰
