The flame burned brighter on Day 2 of DILAAB: Catarman Youth Summit 2026 as delegates immersed themselves in meaningful conversations on Civic Engagement, Participatory Governance, and Sustainable Developmentโequipping every young leader with the knowledge and inspiration to become active partners in nation-building.
The day began with an insightful session by Inst. Rainville Balase, MPA, who challenged participants to embrace their role in civic engagement and participatory governance, emphasizing that meaningful change begins when young people actively participate in shaping their communities.
In the afternoon, Dr. Mark Jeoffrey Diaz inspired the delegates through his session on Youth as Partners in Sustainable Development, reminding everyone that the aspirations of today's generation can create a more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable tomorrow.
As the sun set, learning continued in a more personal and interactive way during Youth Night: DILAAB Talks, expertly hosted by Ms. Grachelle Obong. Through engaging conversations and shared experiences, participants reflected on their journeys, exchanged ideas, and strengthened their commitment to servant leadership and youth empowerment.
Indeed, Day 2 was a day of igniting minds, strengthening convictions, and fueling the passion of every DILAAB delegate to lead with purpose and serve with heart.
