Environmental Related Programs of the MENRO held @ Diata Integrated School, Basag, Tboli, South Cotabato.
1. MOA signing on the establishment of School's Mini Forest.
2. Basura Barter
3. IEC on DRR/CCA and salient features of various Environmental Related Laws and Regulations

150 hills of various tree species and ornamentals were planted along the designated school's mini forest, binded by a MOA between the LGU Tboli thru MENRO ( represented by GATolondon) And the Faculty and Students of Diata Integrated School (represented by Roy Gonzales, TIC)in Barangay Basag, Tboli, South Cotabato.

Also, more than 300 kilos of residuals and recyclables, including 11 large sacks of trash bottles brought by 240 elementary and junior hi school students in exchange to school supplies and prime commodity goods.

And, in the course of action, the students and teachers had actively participated in the Information and Education Campaign conducted by the MENRO technical staff( Ian Bognoson, EMS II) and won instant cash cellphone loads through answering trivia questions.

The school beneficiary commits to adhere in the duties and responsibilities stipulated in the MOA for the sustainable output of the program. Monitoring and Evaluation shall also be conducted by the MENRO thereafter.

And the sun comes out, good weather brings success in the conduct of "basura barter", IEC and bamboo growing activity.

Tboli MENRO traded recyclable wastes to school supplies and goods at LAMHAKO Integrated School, planted bamboo to stabilize riverbanks and conducted IEC on various envi-laws as part of its advocacy to address solid waste management and the protection and enhancement of natural resources.

More than 200 packs of goods and school supplies are exchanged with recyclable wastes brought by the elementary students recovering more or less 300 kilos of plastic and tin cans. Also, 150 hills of bamboo were planted in the riverbanks of the Lamhaku River as part of the program including a comprehensive relay of information among students and teachers of the said institution.

In order to sustain the said undertaking, both the MENRO Tboli and the teaching staff of LAMHAKO IS pledge commitments bound by a Memorandum of Agreement to act on its roles and responsibilities.

PLANT, PRESERVE, PROTECT, A theme from the recently conducted tree growing and IEC activities as part of the LAMHAKO IS school's mini-forest establishment project. Various indigenous tree species are planted, participated in by teachers and students who vowed to nurture by affixing their names as planters.

A partnership between LGU Tboli through MENRO and LAMHAKO IS, binded by a MOA aimed to enhance and sustain a well balanced ecology.

LGU-Tboli through MENRO in partnership with PEMO, DA-ADPO conducted a Bamboo Growing Activity last June 23-24, 2022 at barangay Talufo and Lambuling, Tboli, South Cotabato.

This is part of the Bamboo Development Program of the PEMO. The said activity was participated by Allah Valley Bikers Assoc. (AVBA), Tboli Bikers Association, Sumifru Phils. Inc. and the benefiacies who had planted 2,000 hills of bamboo propagules (bayog) a grant from DA-ADPO.

Propagules were planted at Lambuling ES and at the farm of 5 other beneficiaries of respective barangays.

A Memorandum of Agreement between LGU-Tboli, PEMO, DA-ADPO and the beneficiaries was signed before planting the propagules to ensure the sustainability of the program and to identify the responsibilities of both parties.

As part of the celebration of World Environment Month.

The Association of South Cotabato Earth Savers (ASCES) Tboli Chapter in partnership with the Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office (PEMO) conducted a tree growing activity at Lemsnolon, Tboli, South Cotabato.

Participated by the members of the association and the beneficiaries, the team planted 300 hills of Nabul and Mahogany seedlings.

In celebration of World Environment Month with a theme "Aksyon Para sa Natatanging Mundo".

The Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office in partnership with Radyo Katribu 103.3 and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council conducts a Clean-up Drive Acitivity last June 17, 2022.

The said activity was participated by local government employees, national agencies, private sector, cooperatives and secondary schools. It started with a Zumba at Tboli Knoon Monument and clean-up drive traversed along national highway from brgy. Poblacion down to barangay Sinolon, Tboli, South Cotabato.

During the cleaning, the participants collected more or less 850kg of segregated wastes.

January is celebrated as Zero Waste Month, this in passage of RA 9003 commonly known as Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000, this years theme is "Fast Tracking the Solid Waste Management Solutions for a Sustainable-Driven Philippines".

In this celebration, the local government unit of Tboli conducted a clean-up drive activity last January 28, 2022 at Municipal Public Market and main thoroughfare of the municipality, the activity was participated by the national agencies, PNP, BFP, Special Forces, education sector, public and private organizations, local companies, business sector, and other agencies.

We had collected not less than 750kg of residual waste and 1,600kg of biodegradable waste.
