Grateful to have been part of the “𝘽𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙨 𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙖𝙩𝙖, 𝙆𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝙋𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙖: 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙 𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙄𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙂𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨” held on August 13–14, 2026, in General Santos City.

This meaningful seminar reminded me that the voice of every child matters and that young people have an important role in our communities. It was an opportunity to learn, connect, and better understand how we can participate in local governance and become responsible representatives of our fellow youth.

My heartfelt gratitude to my Adviser, 𝙈𝙖’𝙖𝙢 𝙀𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙍𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙤 and my 𝙎𝙎𝙇𝙂 𝘼𝙙𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙨, 𝙈𝙖’𝙖𝙢 𝙁𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙖 𝘾𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙜 and 𝙈𝙖’𝙖𝙢 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙆𝙧𝙞𝙨 𝙇𝙖𝙯𝙤, for your guidance and support . From “𝑾𝒆𝒍𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝑺𝑩𝑳𝑻 2026” to “𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝑺𝑩𝑳𝑻 2026!”

What started with “𝘌𝘹𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘯𝘢 𝘬𝘰 𝘢𝘩𝘩!” ended with “𝘗𝘸𝘦𝘥𝘦 𝘯𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘭𝘰𝘨?”

24 hours of 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥, 𝙩𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠, 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙨, 𝙩𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙣, 𝙥𝙪𝙮𝙖𝙩, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙪𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨. We came as learners, faced the challenges together, and left with new lessons, stronger bonds, and stories na siguradong ikukuwento pa rin natin. 🤝

Thank you, 𝑺𝒊𝒓 𝑹𝒖𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒎 𝑨𝒍𝒊𝒅𝒐, for sharing your knowledge and experiences about leadership and for reminding us that being a leader is not simply about having a position, but about having the courage, responsibility, and willingness to serve others.

Thank you, 𝑺𝒊𝒓 𝑱𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝑭𝒍𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒐, for reminding us that behind every student leader is a person who also needs to be heard, understood, and cared for. Your discussion on mental health reminded us that taking care of ourselves is also part of becoming an effective leader.
