ISULAN, SULTAN KUDARAT - The KONEK: Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 – Province of Sultan Kudarat officially wrapped up with success, bringing together young people from across the province in a celebration of talent, leadership, creativity, and meaningful youth participation.

From competitions and showcases to leadership activities and inspiring conversations, LNK 2026 provided a platform for the youth to connect, express, lead, and contribute. With the theme “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations,” the celebration proved that while our experiences may differ, we remain united by our shared dreams for a better future.

The Sultan Kudarat Association of Youth Organizations (SKAYO) extends its gratitude to the Provincial Youth Development Office - Sultan Kudarat (PYDO), Provincial Government of Sultan Kudarat, DILG, SK Federations, Local Youth Development Offices, youth organizations, partners, volunteers, and every young person who made this celebration possible.

𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗗: 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗔𝗜𝗗 & 𝗕𝗔𝗦𝗜𝗖 𝗟𝗜𝗙𝗘 𝗦𝗨𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧 𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

ISULAN, SULTAN KUDARAT — In celebration of International Youth Day 2025 and Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, anchored on the theme “𝐃𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐬, 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬,” the Provincial Youth Development Office - Sultan Kudarat and Provincial Youth Development Council- Sultan Kudarat Province successfully conducted the First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) Training in partnership with the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) – Sultan Kudarat on August 14–16, 2026, at the VIP Lounge, Cultural and Sports Complex, Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.

The three-day training equipped young participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in basic life support, emergency preparedness, and appropriate response during critical situations. Through lectures, demonstrations, hands-on activities, and return demonstrations, participants gained greater confidence and readiness to respond effectively when faced with emergencies and situations requiring immediate assistance.

More than just a training, this initiative serves as a meaningful investment in building a prepared, resilient, and empowered generation of young people. By strengthening their capacity to respond during emergencies, the youth become valuable partners in creating safer and more resilient communities—proving that when young people are equipped with the right knowledge and skills, they can make a difference when it matters most.

Anchored on the theme “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations,” this year’s celebration recognizes the diverse experiences, ideas, and realities of the youth while highlighting the shared aspiration for a more inclusive, innovative, and sustainable future. Through KONEK, young people are given spaces to connect, collaborate, and turn ideas into meaningful action.

As SKAYO continues to champion youth empowerment and active participation, we stand with the youth of Sultan Kudarat in building stronger partnerships, embracing technology and innovation, and creating opportunities that make a lasting impact in our communities. Let us KONEK, collaborate, and create a future where every young voice matters.

In celebration of Linggo ng Kabataan 2026, the Provincial Government of Sultan Kudarat proudly presents 𝗞𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗞, this year's official banner inspired by the theme, "𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽." As a popular Gen Z term derived from the word connect, KONEK embodies the power of collaboration, innovation, and meaningful partnerships in empowering young people to create positive change in their communities and beyond.

This year's celebration features three major components: Arts Competitions, Literary Competitions, and Youth Innovations and Ideas. These platforms are designed to showcase the creativity, leadership, talents, and innovative spirit of the youth while fostering collaboration, digital empowerment, and community engagement.
