“KWENTO KO, ARAL NIYO”: An Anti-Bullying Campaign

On February 5, 2026, Paitan Integrated School’s Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Officers – High School implemented the “Kwento Ko, Aral Niyo” anti-bullying classroom storytelling session for Grades 3 to Grade 6 students. The activity was held to tackle bullying in the elementary level and foster empathy among learners, using age-appropriate storytelling to help students recognize bullying scenarios.

The campaign created a more caring environment in school, and BKD Officers plan to hold follow-up sessions to reinforce lessons and celebrate students who help keep the school safe and welcoming.

“SA BAGONG PILIPINAS, KALUSUGAN AY PINAPAHALAGAHAN, DROGA AY INAAYAWAN”

This morning, November 18, 2025, the Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) officers at Paitan Integrated School officially kicked off their 2025 DAPC Week campaign. Led by their dedicated president, Alberto D. Nabejet Jr., BKD Advisers, and heads of the school, the campaign commenced with the prominent placement of a banner near the main entrance, bearing the compelling message:
“Sa bagong Pilipinas, Kalusugan ay pinapahalagahan, Droga ay inaayawan.”

Following this, the team executed a campus-wide posting strategy, placing anti-drug posters in high-traffic areas, including academic hallways and the student cafeteria.

As students arrived, the BKD distributed informative brochures detailing the harsh realities of drug abuse, its detrimental effects, and critical resources for assistance. By the time the bell rang, the school was vibrantly saturated with anti-drug messages, ensuring a successful and high-visibility launch to their crucial awareness efforts.
