The LIGA ng mga Barangay sa Pilipinas is an organization of 41,940 barangays comprising the Republic of the Philippines. Organically, the mandated is rooted in the Local Government Code of 1991, which provides for the formation of Leagues in all levels of the local bureaucratic hierarchy

As an organization, the LIGA serves as a venue for the Barangays to articulate, ventilate and crystallize issu

es affecting barangay government administration and securing solutions to these issues through proper legal means. Organizationally, the LIGA ng mga Barangay has chapters at the provincial city and municipal levels, making it the only non-government institution that has presence nationwide..

DepEd has scheduled the Brigada Eskwela from May 19 to 24 all over the country as per DepEd Memorandum No. 32, series of 2014.

Brigada Eskwela is a nationwide voluntary effort bringing together teachers, parents and the community to clean up and repair public schools to prepare the facilities for the school opening.

As a part of the community, we practice BARANGAYANIHAN SA PAARALAN because we aim to motivate every citizen of our barangay to be responsible and with diligence.

We are also to encourage volunteers to practice the Bayanihan spirit by providing manpower for labor, sharing your time, strength and resources in kind. For us BRIGADA stands for:

G-o and participate

D-o your best
A-and be a part of the TEAM

We would like to thank all the volunteers who are with us during our YCAP, LGU Solano headed by MAYOR PHILIP A. DACAYO, LIGA ng mga Barangay headed by LIGA President EDUARDO DL.
