SOUVENIR ITEMS MADE OF BAMBOO PRODUCTS TRAINING

The City Government of Sipalay under the leadership of City Mayor Maria Gina M. Lizares, through the City Cooperative Development Office (CCDO) and the Sipalay City Cooperative Development Council (SCCDC) with the assistance of the Department of Trade and Industry Negros Occidental conducted a Souvenir Items made of Bamboo Products Training last October 27-29, 2025 at the Sipalay City Multi-Purpose Center (Tourism Building), Barangay 2, Sipalay City. The said activity is part of the Cooperative Month Celebration last October.

The goal of this initiative is to empower local entrepreneurs with the knowledge and skills to successfully create and sell bamboo products, thereby strengthening enterprise and the local economy.

The training attended by different officers and mebers of Civil Society Organizations and MSMEs in the City of Sipalay.

BAGGING, TREE GROWING, SEED COLLECTION & SEEDLING PREPARATION ACTIVITY

The City Government of Sipalay under the leadership of City Mayor Maria Gina M. Lizares, through the City Cooperative Development Office (CCDO), the Sipalay City Cooperative Development Council (SCCDC) and Sipalay City People’s Council (SCPC) in partnership with the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (City ENRO), conducted a Bagging, Tree Growing, Seed Collection, and Seedling Preparation activity on November 28, 2025, 7:00am to 11:00am at Sipalay Green Belt Eco Park and Critical Habitat (Green BEaCH), Barangay 5, Sipalay City.

The said activity aims to engage organizations and especially students in the practice of environmental advocacy and introduce the principles of sustainability at a young age, training them to be the guardians of our Mother Nature.

Our sincerest Thanks to HOLY ROSARY ACADEMY especially to Rev. Fr. Ritchie A. Villaflor, School Director, Sir Armando M. Española, Jr., School Principal, Sir Fritzmar M. Pachejo, SAO Adviser and to the Officers of Student Affairs Organization who attended and took part in this significant endeavor. Also present were officers of different Civil Society Organization and CCDO Staff.
