๐‹๐Ž๐Ž๐Š || RHU Silvino Lubos Holds Stakeholdersโ€™ Meeting on Antenatal Visits and Complementary Feeding

The Rural Health Unit of Silvino Lubos conducted a stakeholderโ€™s meeting under PMNP SBCC plan aimed at increasing awareness of the 4 Antenatal Visits (4ANC) and complementary feeding. The activity was held at the Executive Building Conference Room and brought together representatives from the Department of Education, DSWD, Barangay Captains, BHW and BNS Federations, the Womenโ€™s Sector, KOICAโ€“World Vision, Sangguniang Bayan, DOH HRH, and community volunteers from World Vision.

The meeting served as a venue to discuss and promote essential aspects of maternal and child health, emphasizing the importance of regular antenatal care and proper infant feeding practices. Stakeholder engagement plays a crucial role in developing and implementing effective health policies and programs that support the well-being of mothers and children.

Antenatal care (ANC) is a vital public health priority that promotes the health of women during pregnancy and beyond. As highlighted by the World Health Organization (WHO), the quality of care and the experience of pregnant women are as important as the services delivered ensuring that every visit truly contributes to a healthy pregnancy and family life.
