The Public Employment Service Office (PESO),
headed by ๐๐๐พ-๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ง ๐ ๐ฟ.๐๐ฅ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฆ๐๐จ๐๐ ๐. ๐ง๐ข๐ ๐ข๐, successfully conducted a Special Program for the Employment of Students (SPES) Orientation for the fifteen (15) selected beneficiaries who are set to serve as Tara, Basa! Tutors and Youth Development Workers.
The orientation aimed to familiarize the beneficiaries with the objectives of the program, their duties and responsibilities, workplace policies, and other important guidelines related to their assignments. PESO also emphasized the importance of professionalism, dedication, and public service as the beneficiaries begin their employment under the SPES program.
Following the orientation, the beneficiaries paid a courtesy visit to ๐๐ช๐ฃ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ก ๐๐๐ฎ๐ค๐ง ๐๐๐ ๐จ๐๐ ๐ฃ. ๐๐ข๐ก๐ข๐ฅ as they officially kicked off their assignments. During the visit, the Mayor welcomed and encouraged the beneficiaries to perform their duties responsibly and to make the most of the opportunity given to them.
The SPES program continues to provide temporary employment opportunities to deserving students and out-of-school youth, helping them gain valuable work experience while contributing positively to the community.
