The Municipality of Sibonga, under the leadership of our Honorable Mayor Caroline S. Bacaltos, stands in solidarity with the nation in celebrating the 128th Independence Day of the Philippines.

In his message, Mayor Bacaltos, Bisan kinsa ninyo diri mahimong bayani. You do not need wealth. Dili kinahanglan og titulo o posisyon. All you need is a compassionate heart and the courage to do what
is right.

As we commemorate this historic occasion, let us reflect on the sacrifices made by our forefathers in securing the freedom we enjoy today. May this commemoration inspire every Filipino to uphold the values of patriotism, unity, and service to country.

Proud kaayo ta sa atong Hiniusang Sibonga Men’s Volleyball Team nga nag 3rd Runner Up sa PNVF U18 Volleyball Championships – Visayas Cluster didto sa Kanangga, Leyte!

Last April 16–20, ni byahe ang atong mga Sibonganhons didto sa Kanangga, Leyte ug nakig kumbati sa mga lain-laing teams sa tibuok Visayas isip mga representante sa Cebu ug gi pakita nila kung unsa gyud ang kalidad sa usa ka Sibonganhon. 🔥

Daghan kaayong salamat sa atong mga Hiniusang Sibonga Coaches, especially kang Coachvan Vj, for always being there for the kids, bisan pa’g lagyo nga lugar, naa ra gihapon mo para atimanon sila. Salamat sad sa mga parents kay inyong wa’y pu-as nga pag suporta sa atong mga players mao’y ga hatag og kusog nila didto.

Special thanks to Mayor Caroline Bacaltos para sa ilang transpo padulong sa Pier ug pabalik, ug kang Board Member Antonio "Jojo" Deiparine Bacaltos, Jr. sa support para sa ilang food didto sa Leyte. Ang inyong suporta dako gyud kaayong tabang sa atong mga bata. 🫶
