Bobongon, Davao โ October 24โ25, 2025. The grounds of Bobongon Elementary School came alive with laughter, teamwork, and the spirit of scouting as it hosted the 7th Joint Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) and Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) Camporal and Encampment, led by Sir Joselito F. Gudio, Head Teacher III alongside BSP and GSP Troop Leaders.
With the theme โBe Prepared Scouts for Peace and Sustainable Developmentโ and the sub-theme โBlazing Your Path: Leaders, Innovators, and Change-Makers,โ the two-day event gathered young scouts from different grade levels to strengthen values of leadership, discipline, and unity through fun-filled yet meaningful activities.
Teachers, serving as dedicated Troop Leaders, played a crucial role in guiding and mentoring their scouts throughout the camp. Their hands-on leadership and tireless support from organizing campfire programs to facilitating survival challenges were testaments to their commitment not only as educators but as true mentors of life and character.
The camp featured a variety of activities that tested both mind and heart, scouting games, obstacle relays, pioneering tasks, first aid demonstrations, and environmental clean-up drives.
