ICYMI | First Barangay Assemblies for KC-PCRP Launched in Santa Monica, Surigao del Norte.

After the successful Municipal Orientation of KC-PCRP in the Municipality of Santa Monica, Surigao Del Norte the Panahon ng Pagkilos: Philippine Community Resilience Project under KALAHI-CIDSS has officially kicked off its first round of Barangay Assemblies last July 14, 2026 – Barangay Garcia, July 17, 2026 – Barangay Alegria and Barangay T. Arlan, Santa Monica, Surigao del Norte.

The gatherings brought together various sectors: Barangay Officials, farmers, fisherfolks, youth, and women's groups. The ACT and MCT explained the project’s objectives, discussed local hazards and risks, and guided the community in selecting the Barangay Resilience Team (BReST) and Stakeholders Feedback Mechanisms Sub-Committee (SFMSC). These bodies will lead the future implementation of KC-PCRP activities in their respective barangays.

Lasco kauban usab sa nasangpit na aktibidad Ang bisita gikan sa DSWD KALAHI CIDSS-PCRP RPMO Personel, 11 ka mga Punong Barangay ug Pipila ka Barangay Kagawad, Municipal Department Heads ug Miyembro sa Sangguniang Bayan.

Ang tumong sa nasangpit na aktibidad nga mapasabot ngadto sa mga nagkadaiyang sektor sa lungsod kung unsa ka importante ang mahimong lig-on ug andam panahon sa kalamidad.
