On May 28, 2026, NIA-MARIIS conducted a Mass Contract Signing at Division III led by Engr. Jaime M. Lara, Division Manager A. A total of eleven (11) contract packages were formally signed, consisting of nine (9) Restoration of National Irrigation Systems (RNIS) projects and two (2) Extension of National Irrigation Systems (EXTNIS) projects. These projects are set to be implemented in the municipalities of Aurora, Quirino, Gamu, Roxas, San Manuel, and Burgos in Isabela, as well as in Alfonso Lista, Ifugao.

Facilitated by the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) and the Technical Working Group (TWG) of Division III, the activity marked the official commencement of the projects and signified the commitment of both NIA-MARIIS and the contractors to ensure the timely and quality implementation of the approved infrastructure works.

It also served to reaffirm the responsibilities and obligations of all parties involved, strengthen coordination among stakeholders, and promote the successful completion of the projects for the benefit of irrigators and farming communities served by NIA-MARIIS at Division III.
