The Directorate for Intelligence (DI), led by PBGEN ARNOLD P ARDIENTE, Acting Director, DI, successfully underwent its Institutionalization Evaluation Process (IEP) Public Revalida on June 18, 2026 at the Sinagtala P.A.T.R.O.L.ers' Hall, Center for Police Strategy Management (CPSM), Camp BGen Rafael T. Crame, Quezon City, marking another significant milestone in its pursuit of organizational excellence and institutionalization under the Performance Governance System.
The activity commenced with the welcome remarks delivered by PCOL WILSON L DOROMAL, Assistant Chief, CPSM, followed by the briefing on the Revalida process by PBGEN MADELINE D CACAO, Chief, CPSM. Thereafter, PBGEN ARDIENTE presented the Directorateβs governance journey, highlighting its accomplishments, governance mechanisms, best practices, validated breakthrough results, and the impact of its reforms in support of the PNP P.A.T.R.O.L. Plan 2030.
The Directorateβs presentation was evaluated by a distinguished Board of Panel chaired by PMGEN WILSON JOSEPH F LOPEZ, OIC, Office of the Deputy Chief PNP for Operations (ODCPO), with DG Ricardo F. de Leon, DG, National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA), serving as Co-Chairperson. Also serving as panelists were PBGEN JEFFREY Z DECENA, Deputy Director, ITMS; PBGEN VERT T CHAVEZ (Ret.), Vice President for Academics, Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC) and member of the National Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (NAGPTD); PBGEN VICTOR V AREVALO (Ret.), PhD, Director, National Police College; PCOL EDWIN L PORTENTO (Ret.), former Director, PNP Retirement and Separation Benefits Administration Service (PRSBS); and PBGEN FERDINANDO G SEVILLA, President, PPSC and member of the NAGPTD.
Following the panel examination and deliberation, PMGEN LOPEZ announced that the Directorate for Intelligence successfully passed the Public Revalida, signifying its readiness for the conferment of the Institutionalized Status under the Performance Governance System. The achievement marked a significant milestone in the Directorateβs governance journey and affirmed its commitment to sustaining governance reforms, strengthening organizational performance, and advancing the transformation agenda of the Philippine National Police.
