As part of Laiya Integrated National High School’s Search for Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Ambassador and Ambassadress 2025, Laiya Aplaya Youth Force conferred the Trailblazer Award to the candidates who convey a strong advocacy and have the ability to effectively utilize a platform in promoting a drug-free community

Candidates were evaluated based on the established standards of the Empower TRAIL program — creative thinking, innovative ideas, growth mindset and strong desire to make a positive impact in the community.

𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐳𝐞𝐫 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬

As part of Laiya Integrated National High School’s Search for Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Ambassador and Ambassadress 2025, Laiya Aplaya Youth Force will recognize trailblazers as part of its Empower TRAIL program.

During the closed door interview last February 19, candidates were evaluated based on the established standards of the Empower TRAIL program — creative thinking, innovative ideas, growth mindset and strong desire to make a positive impact in the community.

Here are the Trailblazer Award finalists:
• Christine Aerish Santos
• Princess Villanueva
• Angelica Mae Cay
• Jovelle Carpio
• Alliza Mae Cazar

The Trailblazer Award will be conferred to the candidate who conveys a strong advocacy and has the ability to effectively utilize a platform in promoting a drug-free community.

The ambassadress who will receive the Trailblazer Award will be announced on March 7.

𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄

In partnership with the Sangguniang Barangay, Laiya Aplaya Youth Force (LAYF) has successfully rolled out 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗛𝗘𝗬: 𝗛𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 which aims to promote personal hygiene and to support the well-being of the students.

Laiya Aplaya Youth Force and Sangguniang Barangay members distributed the hygiene essentials to the students of Aplaya Elementary School, Aplaya National High School, Wenceslao I. Llana Memorial School and Laiya Aplaya Child Development Center this Tuesday, October 22.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗛𝗘𝗬: 𝗛𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 is a joint project of Laiya Aplaya Youth Force (LAYF) and the Sangguniang Barangay of Laiya Aplaya. This initiative aims to promote personal hygiene and to support the well-being of the students.

Hygiene essentials will be given to the students of Aplaya Elementary School, Aplaya National High School, Wenceslao I. Llana Memorial School and Laiya Aplaya Child Development Center.

Preparation is ongoing and the distribution of hygiene essentials will be scheduled as soon as possible.

The Vanguard, the official online journalistic arm of Laiya Integrated National High School, is now open to new campus journalists who are eager to serve the Laiyan community as custodians of truth and servants of the community.

Starting tomorrow, September 2, registration forms for aspiring Vanguard apprentices will be available. If you need one, please approach Jirreh Jay P. De Chavez, our Editor-in-Chief, at the Grade 12 ABM Fayol classroom, located on the ground floor of the Senior High School Building.

The registration will be followed by The Vanguard entrance examination on Friday, September 6, starting at 1:00 p.m.

We are currently looking for writers, video editors, and layout artists who will join us in advancing our battle cry: "Tungo sa mas makabuluhang pahayagang pampaaralan."

Linggo ng Kabataan: Youth Concert 2024!

Sa darating na August 16, 2024 ay pagsasama samahin ang mga mahuhusay at likas na talentadong Kabataan sa bayan ng San Juan.

Isama ang iyong barkada at pamilya sa Municipal Gymnasium ganap na 5:30pm at saksihan ang isang gabing handog ng Kabataan para sa bayan!

Mabuhay ang mga kabataan at ang Sining ng Pagtatanghal!
