The PYDO Educational Assistance Program of the Province of Antique is now starting the processing of documents.

Please be informed that one of the key requirements is the Certificate of Confirmation (COC) from NCIP.

DOCUMENTOR

(IKSP – Iraynon Bukidnon of Gen. Fullon, San Remigio, Antique)
We are seeking a dedicated and culturally sensitive individual who will serve as the Documentor of the Indigenous Knowledge Systems and Practices (IKSP) of the Iraynon Bukidnon community in Gen. Fullon, San Remigio, Antique.

📌 Key Responsibilities:

• Document the Indigenous Knowledge Systems and Practices (IKSP) of the Iraynon Bukidnon
• Conduct interviews, focus group discussions, and community consultations
• Prepare detailed narrative documentation and transcription of gathered data
• Organize and compile cultural data, stories, traditions, and practices
• Assist in the preparation of IKSP documentation reports and related outputs
• Coordinate with community elders, leaders, and NCIP staff
• Ensure proper and respectful documentation in accordance with IP cultural protocols
• Perform other related tasks as may be assigned

Location: Province of Antique
Employment Type: 3 months Contract (starting March 1, 2026)

✅ Qualifications:
• Graduate of any four (4)-year course
• Preferably with experience in research, documentation, or report writing
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Willing to conduct fieldwork in Indigenous Cultural Communities
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• With high respect for Indigenous Peoples’ culture and traditions
• Knowledge of local language/dialect is an advantage

NCIP–Aklan/Antique at the PAGPASEAMAT 2026

Our heartfelt appreciation to the 82nd Infantry “Bantay Laya” Battalion, Philippine Army, under the leadership of LTC Jovert Pimentel, INF (GSC) PA, for the successful conduct of PAGPASEAMAT 2026 held at Marzon Hotel on Thursday afternoon, January 29, 2025.

The award was received by Charlen Rosales, CDO III, Kristie Ann Blasa, and Godofredo Colas, Jr., together with IPMR Gladys Dorothy Colas of LGU Libacao, in recognition of the strong partnership and continued collaboration in promoting peace and advancing the rights and welfare of Indigenous Peoples.

‎💍✨ Matagal na pinangarap, ngayon ay pinagtibay ✨💍

‎Sa loob ng maraming taon, tatlong pares ng Ati mula sa Man-up, Altavas, Aklan ang namuhay bilang mag-asawa—may mga anak, may responsibilidad, may pagmamahalan—ngunit walang papel na magpapatunay sa kanilang pag-iisang dibdib. Hindi dahil ayaw, kundi dahil ang kasal ay naging luho sa gitna ng araw-araw na pakikipaglaban sa buhay.

‎Noong Disyembre 23, 2025, ang matagal nang pangarap ay tuluyang natupad. Sa tulong ng NCIP Aklan/Antique Community Service Center, Atty. Hermie Jun S. Toledo ng NCIP Regional Office, at Municipal IPMR Hon.Gladys Dorothy Colas ng Libacao, Aklan, na kusang nagbahagi at tumulong sa gastusin mula sa kanilang sariling resources, ang kasal ay naidaos—simple, totoo, at punô ng kahulugan. Ginawa mismo sa Ati community, sa harap ng kanilang pamilya at buong komunidad na saksi sa kanilang pagmamahalan.

‎Ang banal na pag-iisang dibdib ay pinangunahan at pinagtibay ni Hon. Denny D. Refol, Sr., Municipal Mayor ng Altavas, kasama ang suporta ng LGU Altavas, MPDC Altavas sa pagproseso ng mga dokumento, at ng IBP Aklan. Isang araw na nagpapaalala sa atin na ang pag-ibig ay hindi nasusukat sa bonggang handaan, kundi sa malasakit, bayanihan, at pusong handang tumulong.

‎Kapag ang pag-ibig ay wagas at buo, darating ang tamang panahon, tiyak at totoo.

A collaborative activity of the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP), the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), the Office of Congressman AA Legarda, the Office of Senator Loren Legarda, and the Provincial Government of Antique.

As part of the Binirayan Festival, Laro ng Lahi 2025 became a vibrant celebration of the Indigenous Peoples of Antique, highlighting traditional games as a living expression of culture and identity. The activity brought together over 650 IP participants from across the province, fostering unity, cultural pride, and solidarity while honoring the rich heritage and resilience of the IP communities of Antique.

Maagang Pamasko para sa Ati ICC ng Badiang!

Isang makabuluhang Operation Relief ang handog ng Office of the Vice President, sa tulong ng opisina ni Vice Governor Genevieve Lim Reyes at ni SP Gaseva Recupuesto, sa pakikipagtulungan ng NCIP, upang maghatid ng tulong, suporta, at kagalakan sa ating mga kapatid na Ati.

Ang programang ito ay nagsilbing patunay ng malasakit at pagtutulungan ng pamahalaan at ng komunidad para sa kapakanan ng mga katutubo. Isang simpleng pamasko na puno ng pagmamahal, pagkalinga, at pagkakaisa – para sa mga tunay na yaman ng ating kultura at pamana.

The National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) proudly receives a Plaque of Appreciation from DILG Aklan for our commitment and unwavering support in the successful implementation of the Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP).

The plaque was personally received by Charlen Rosales, CDO III of NCIP Aklan/Antique CSC, during the awarding ceremony.

Awarded this 9th day of December 2025 during the Pagkilala 2025 in Kalibo, Aklan, with the theme “Celebrating Pillars and Partners of Excellent Local Governance.”

‎In partnership with the Office of SP Gaseva Recopuerto of Antique, Committee Chair on IP and Office of Vice Governor Genevive Lim Reyes, the NCIP Aklan/Antique successfully availed 19 slots for the “Mag Negosyo Ta, Day!” (MTD) Program for the Akeanon Bukidnon of Libacao and Madalag, Aklan.

‎The MTD Program, initiated by the Office of the Vice President Sara Duterte, provides ₱15,000 livelihood assistance to each beneficiary to support their small negosyo and strengthen community-driven development.

‎The distribution of the livelihood support was facilitated by the OVP in coordination with the NCIP Aklan/Antique Community Service Center (AACSC). Present during the activity was Hon. Gaseva Recopuerto, whose recommendation and support made this opportunity possible for our IP communities and Hon. Engr. Gladys Dorothy Colas, Municipal IPMR of Libacao, Aklan.
