As teachers, you carry a noble and challenging responsibility, shaping the future of our youth through your dedication and sacrifice. I always believe in the lasting impact of this profession—my own father was a teacher of law, and many of his students are now in high positions, including First Lady Atty. Liza Araneta Marcos.

Ginpirmahan ron ang Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) sa tunga kang Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA) , Provincial Government of Antique kag Opisina ni Cong. AA Legarda para sa pagpatuman kang Hospitalization and Medical Assistance Program nga magabulig sa mga rehistrado nga coconut farmers kag andang mga qualified dependents.

Pinaaagi sa dyang programa, ang mga benepisyaryo nga nakarehistro sa National Coconut Farmers Registry System (NCFRS) makabenepisyo kang:
Hospitalization assistance nga hasta ₱40,000
Outpatient care support nga ₱5,000 kag
Post-confinement assistance nga ₱5,000.

Ang programa nagatuyo nga mapalapnag ang serbisyo panglawas kag mas mapabakod ang social protection para sa mga coconut farmers sa probinsya kang Antique.

Ang MOA signing nagapakita kang aton padayon nga pagpaninguha kaimaw ang PCA, Provincial Government of Antique sa pagpanguna ni Governor Paolo S. Javier kag Opisina nanday Cong. AA Legarda kag Sen. Loren Legarda sa pagtugro kang mas mayad nga suporta kag benepisyo para sa sektor kang pagniyog kag anda mga pamilya.

Today, I met with Aquaculturist II Hernan M. Samson and the Fisheries Division of the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist (OPA), together with SP Member Fernando Corvera, Chairperson of the Committee on Agriculture, to discuss the challenges confronting our fisheries program.

Among the concerns raised were the need for additional licensed fisheries technicians to support province-wide operations, the lack of floating assets and personnel, and the necessity of establishing a dedicated fisheries task force equipped with patrol boats, watchmen, fuel support, and a command center.

These concerns will ensure the food security, environmental protection, and sustainable livelihoods for our fisherfolk. Rest assured that we will continue to explore practical and long-term solutions to strengthen fisheries management and enforcement throughout the Province of Antique.

Together, we will work toward a more productive, protected, and sustainable future for our coastal communities.

One of our priorities is ensuring that Antiqueños have better access to quality healthcare services without the need to travel outside the province.

That is why we are exploring a possible partnership with Josmef Medical Corporation to expand our dialysis services through the renovation of an entire floor of the Angel Salazar Memorial General Hospital and the establishment of a new dialysis center at the Ramon Maza, Sr. Memorial District Hospital in Sibalom.

If realized, this partnership will help increase our dialysis capacity, replace aging equipment, and provide more treatment slots for patients who rely on regular dialysis to sustain their lives. This is part of our continuing commitment to strengthen our hospitals and bring essential healthcare services closer to every Antiqueño.
