The competitive energy of the Pintaflores Festival is set to continue as the city prepares to host the highly-anticipated Pintaflores Futsal Festival on Sunday, December 7, 2025. This single-day event will showcase intense action across the Men's Open and Women's Open divisions, each featuring a demanding format designed to crown the best squads in the region.
đ đ˛đģ'đ đĸđŊđ˛đģ: đ§đĩđ˛ đĒđļđšđąđ°đŽđŋđą đđđģđ
Twelve (12) teams will vie for the Men's Open title, tackling a challenging two-stage "festival type" format:
âĄī¸ Group Stage (Round-Robin): The 12 teams are split into three (3) groups of four (4). Each team will play every other team in their group once, resulting in three matches per team in the initial round. âŠī¸ Total Group Matches: 3 games per group x 3 groups = 9 matches.
âĄī¸ Knockout Stage (Semi-Finals and Final): Only four teams will advance to the Semi-Finals:
1ī¸âŖ The Top Team from each of the three groups (3 teams total).
2ī¸âŖ One Wild Card Team, which will be the best runner-up among the three groups, determined by total points and standard tie-breakers (goal difference, goals scored, etc.).
The Semi-Final pairings will feature a crossover between the three group winners and the wild card team, leading directly to the ultimate Championship Match. This setup ensures high drama as the field is quickly narrowed to determine the champion.

The Women's Open will feature six (6) teams in a hybrid format that rewards consistency before transitioning into a tense knockout phase.
âĄī¸ All six teams will compete in a single round-robin, meaning every team plays every other team once for a total of 15 group matches. This stage will be crucial for seeding.
âĄī¸ Once the round-robin is complete, the top four teams in the standings (based on accumulated points and tie-breakers) will advance to the Semi-Finals.
âĄī¸ The winners of the Semi-Finals will face off for the Women's Open Champion title.
The Women's tournament provides a unique challenge: teams must maintain peak performance throughout the long round-robin to ensure a high seed, making the difference between facing the top-ranked team or a more evenly matched competitor in the knockout stage.
The Pintaflores Futsal Festival is expected to draw a large crowd of supporters, offering a spectacular demonstration of local athletic prowess and community spirit in San Carlos City.
