Congressman Eleandro Jesus “Budoy” F. Madrona, together with COS Esteban “Denon” S.F. Madrona Jr., continues to strengthen public service delivery in Romblon with the recent turnover of two brand-new laptops and a printer to the NBI San Agustin Clearance Center.

This initiative reflects the Congressman’s unwavering commitment to empowering national agencies with the resources they need to serve the people more efficiently. The newly donated equipment will play a vital role particularly in conducting Mobile Clearance Operations of the NBI San Agustin across the province—bringing faster, more accessible government services to communities, even in the most remote areas of Romblon.

Through proactive leadership and genuine dedication, Congressman Madrona and the NBI MIMAROPA remains focused on bridging gaps in public service and ensuring that no Romblomanon is left behind.

01 Mayo 2026 – Pormal na ipinagkaloob ni Cong. Budoy ang dalawang (2) laptop at isang (1) printer, para sa NBI Clearance Center sa Bayan ng San Agustin bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagtutulungan upang mas mapabuti ang kakayahan ng NBI sa pagbibigay ng serbisyo sa ating mga kababayan.

Ang naturang kagamitan ay opisyal na tinanggap ni NBI San Agustin Center OIC, Roxanne V. Guntan, MPA, kasama ang kanyang masisipag na kasamahan.

Layunin ng pagkakaloob na ito na higit pang suportahan ang mobile clearance operations ng NBI. Sa pamamagitan nito, mas mailalapit sa ating mga kababayan ang maayos at mabilis na proseso ng pagkuha ng clearance, dito mismo sa loob ng ating Probinsiya.

Ang hakbang na ito ay patunay ng patuloy na pagtutulungan ng pamahalaan at mga institusyon upang matiyak ang pantay at tapat na serbisyo publiko para sa kapakanan ng lahat, lalo na ng mga komunidad na higit na nangangailangan sa buong Lalawigan.

PRESS RELEASE: | NBI ASSURES PUBLIC: TEMPORARY DISRUPTION OF ONLINE SERVICES DUE TO SYSTEM TRANSITION

Pasay City , Philippines-- The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) informs the public that its official website and several online services are currently experiencing temporary downtime due to an ongoing transition between internet service providers.

Earlier today, access to the NBI website (nbi.gov.ph), including the Online Clearance Application Portal and official email services, was disrupted.

According to the NBI Technology and Infrastructure Division (TIND), the interruption occurred during the agency’s migration to a new internet provider. In simple terms, the issue involves the system that directs users to the correct NBI servers online. During the transition, the connection from the previous provider was unexpectedly cut before the new system was fully activated, causing the services to go offline.

The affected services include:
• NBI Official Website
• Online Clearance Application Portal
• Internal and External Email Systems

At present, NBI technical teams are working continuously to restore full service. The agency is also closely coordinating with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) to ensure proper system configuration and prevent further disruptions.

NBI Director Atty. Melvin D. Matibag assured the public that the disruption is purely technical in nature and not the result of any security breach, emphasizing that the agency’s systems remain secure. He added that teams are working around the clock to restore all services as soon as possible and appealed for the public’s patience and understanding as the NBI completes the transition toward a more stable and improved digital infrastructure.

The NBI will provide updates as soon as services are fully restored.

For urgent concerns, the public is advised to coordinate with the nearest NBI office.

𝐏𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐂 𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘

In accordance with Republic Act No. 9642 and Proclamation No. 430, Special Non-Working Days are declared in the province of Romblon in celebration of Romblon Foundation Day and commemoration of Victory Day (Liberation of Panay & Romblon).

In line with these observances, 𝐍𝐁𝐈 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧 (𝐍𝐂𝐂 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧) will be closed on March 16 & 18, 2026 (Monday & Wednesday).

Regular office operations will resume on March 17, 19, & 20, 2026 (Tuesday, Thursday & Friday).

Frontline services, including investigative operations and clearance processing, shall be available from Monday to Friday.

Makiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Safer Internet Day (SID) for Children Philippines ngayong ika-10 ng Pebrero 2026!

Ang SID ay isang internasyonal na pagdiriwang na isinasagawa taun-taon upang isulong ang ligtas at responsableng paggamit ng internet lalo na sa mgakabataan. Mula nang ilunsad ito noong 2004, higit sa 100 na bansa na ang nakiisa sa pagdiriwang ito upang palaganapin ang kamalayan tungkol sa kahalagahan ng digital literacy at online safety. Sa Pilipinas, ang SID ay opisyal na kinikilala ng Proklamasyon Blg. 417 na idinidedeklara ang ikalawang martes ng Pebrero bilang Safer Internet Day para sa mga Batang Pilipino. Ang tema ng taong ito na, “𝗔𝗸𝗼, 𝗜𝗸𝗮𝘄, 𝗧𝗮𝘆𝗼: 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗸𝘁𝗮𝗱𝗼 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗸𝘁𝗮𝗱𝗼 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗢𝗦𝗔𝗘𝗖 𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗦𝗔𝗘𝗠”, ay nagbibigay diin sa kahalagahan ng sama-samang pagtutulungan ng buong bansa upang lumikha ng mas ligtas na digital space para sa Kabataang Pilipino.
