LOOK | The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Samboan, Cebu, continues to demonstrate its strong support for the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) through sustained partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office 7.

On April 7–8, 2026, the LGU funded a two-day training covering Modules 1 and 2 of the Self-Help Group (SHG) approach, specifically designed for 4Ps Parent Leaders. The training aimed to strengthen the capacities of parent leaders and equip them with the facilitation skills needed to organize and sustain functional self-help groups among 4Ps partner-beneficiaries.

The trained parent leaders currently handle 37 self-help groups across the municipality of Samboan, with each group comprising 10 to 30 household heads. Through this approach, the groups are expected to foster mutual support, shared learning, and collective problem-solving among 4Ps families within their communities.

Following the training, the LGU further extended assistance by providing 5 kilograms of rice, grocery items, and incentives to the participants as support and recognition for their commitment to community leadership.

In total, 37 parent leaders completed the training and are now prepared to cascade the SHG modules within their respective groups—strengthening community solidarity and advancing the goal of building functional and empowered Self-Help Groups of 4Ps partner beneficiaries in Samboan.

Through collaborative efforts like this, LGU Samboan and 4Ps continue to work hand in hand, promoting community empowerment and strengthening family development initiatives.

PAHIBALO ALANG SA TANANG LUMULOPYO SA SAMBOAN

Aron mapadayon ang kalinaw, kahapsay, ug kaluwasan sa atong komunidad, ang Lokal nga Panggamhanan sa Samboan kauban ang inyong mga kapulisan nagpahinumdom sa hingpit nga pagpatuman sa mosunod nga mga Municipal Ordinance:

1. CURFEW SA MGA BATAN-ON
Ang tanang menor de edad (ubos sa 18 anyos) ginadili nga maglaag sa gawas sa ilang panimalay sa oras nga gitakda sa curfew, gawas lamang kung adunay kauban nga ginikanan o guardian. Kini alang sa ilang proteksyon batok sa posibleng kadaut ug kalapasan sa balaod.

2. PAG-INOM SA PUBLIKONG LUGAR
Gidili ang pag-inom og makahubog nga ilimnon sa mga publikong lugar sama sa kadalanan, parke, baybayon, ug uban pang pampublikong lugar. Kini aron malikayan ang kasamok, kagubot, ug dili maayong panghitabo.

MGA SILOT
Ang bisan kinsa nga makalapas sa maong mga ordinansa pagaatubang sa angay nga silot sumala sa balaod, lakip ang multa o uban pang legal nga aksyon.

Gina-awhag ang tanang lumulopyo sa pagtinabangay ug pagsunod sa mga balaod aron mapabilin ang kalinaw ug kahapsay sa atong lungsod.

Sa patuloy na pagtaas ng gastusin, mahalagang alam natin ang mga benepisyong makakatulong sa atin. Ayon sa Department of Energy o DOE, maaring makatanggap ang Senior Citizen ng 5% Discount sa pagbili ng LPG sa mga awtorisadong dealers o distributors na may valid License to Operate (LTO).

𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗴𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗮𝗴𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗴-𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹:

✔Dapat ang LPG natin ay 11kg pababa lamang.
✔Kailangan ng valid Senior Citizen ID o PWD ID sa pagbili.
✔Siguraduhin na para lamang sa personal na paggamit ang LPG, at hindi para sa negosyo.

𝗣𝗮𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗹𝗮: Ang pag-avail ng 5% discount para sa LPG ay maaring magamit isang beses sa limang buwan lamang.

Mga ka-Golden Heart, manatiling updated at alamin ang inyong mga karapatan at benepisyo! Dahil gaano man kaliit o kalaki ang benepisyo, siguradong may hatid itong ginhawa at tulong sa ating pang-araw-araw na pamumuhay.
