During the Barangay Visitation, personnel of the Salcedo Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted an information drive among the youth sector of Brgy. Lucbuban, Salcedo, Ilocos Sur. The activity focused on discussing the salient provisions of Republic Act No. 9995, also known as the Anti-Photo and Video Voyeurism Act of 2009, and Republic Act No. 11313, or the Safe Spaces Act (Bawal Bastos Law), as well as other laws protecting women and children against all forms of domestic and sexual violence.
Furthermore, they were reminded of essential crime prevention tips and were encouraged to promptly report any incidents involving violence or abuse against women and children to the PNP Salcedo for immediate and appropriate action.
