LGU Salay MCR Staff join APCAS Rollout

The staff of the Municipal Civil Registry Office (MCR) participated in the APCAS Rollout conducted last August 25–26, 2026, at the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Building in Cagayan de Oro City.

The rollout marks another significant step toward the digitalization and modernization of civil registration services. Through APCAS, the MCR Office continues to embrace technology to make civil registration processes faster, more efficient, accurate, and accessible to the public. 💻📋

📋 DAY 1 | 4th Regional Convention on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics

Today, August 18, 2026, marks the first day of the 4th Regional Convention on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) at Chali Beach Resort.

The Barangay Captains of Salay, headed by ABC President Imelda C. Deang, together with Barangay Kagawads, Barangay Secretaries, and the Acting Municipal Civil Registrar, are participating in this three-day convention from August 18–20, 2026.

The activity aims to further strengthen their knowledge and understanding of civil registration and vital statistics and enhance the delivery of accurate and efficient civil registration services in our communities.

SALAY MCR RECEIVES CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION IN CRVS 101 & 201 ACADEMY – BATCH 14

The Municipal Civil Registry Office of Salay, Misamis Oriental, represented by its Acting Municipal Civil Registrar, Kaycee Lou D. Bagolbol, received a Certificate of Completion in the CRVS 101 and 201 Academy – Batch 14, held on August 10–14, 2026 at the PSA Headquarters in Quezon City.

The Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants who successfully meet the Academy’s requirements, including attaining at least an 80% average in the daily examinations conducted throughout the training.

Our sincere thanks to Mayor Jay Vincent N. Capistrano for his continued support to the professional development of LGU Salay personnel, and to the Philippine Statistics Authority for this valuable learning opportunity.

PhilSys National ID Mobile Registration – Day 3

The Local Government Unit of Salay, headed by Mayor Jay Vincent N. Capistrano, through the Municipal Civil Registry Office (MCRO) and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), in partnership with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), successfully conducted the third day of the PhilSys National ID Mobile Registration on July 15, 2026, at the Salay Public Market.

Day 3 Accomplishments:
✅ National ID Verification: 249 clients
✅ National ID Registration: 130 applicants

The activity continues to provide Salayanos with accessible and convenient PhilSys services, bringing government services closer to the community.

The Local Government Unit of Salay, headed by Mayor Jay Vincent N. Capistrano, through the Municipal Civil Registry Office (MCRO) and the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), in partnership with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), successfully conducted the second day of the PhilSys National ID Mobile Registration on July 14, 2026, at the Salay Public Market.

Day 2 Accomplishments:
✅ National ID Verification: 159 clients
✅ National ID Registration: 143 applicants

The activity continues to bring PhilSys services closer to the community, providing Salayanos with convenient access to National ID registration and verification.
