26 AUGUST 2026 // FIRE AND EMERGENCY SIMULATION EXERCISE – CRISTO REY REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

As part of the continuing efforts to promote fire safety and emergency preparedness in schools, the Saint Bernard Fire Station, under the leadership of SFO3 Julie C Sibi, Officer-In-Charge, Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted a Fire and Emergency Simulation Exercise for the School Emergency Response Team (SERT) at Cristo Rey Regional High School, Saint Bernard, Southern Leyte.

The activity aimed to assess the preparedness and response capabilities of the SERT during a simulated emergency situation. It also provided the team an opportunity to practice proper evacuation, communication, coordination, and emergency response procedures based on the school's School Emergency Response Plan (SERP).

The simulation exercise also helped identify possible challenges and areas for improvement to ensure a faster, safer, and more organized response during actual emergencies.
The Saint Bernard Fire Station extends its appreciation to the school administration, SERT, DRRM Team, teachers, and staff of Cristo Rey Regional High School for their active participation and cooperation in promoting a safe and prepared school community.

“Stronger Together for a Healthier Community”

1103H 08 August 2026 — BFP Saint Bernard Fire Station personnel joined in the conduct of the Nationwide Supplemental Vaccination Program for Measles-Rubella held in the area of responsibility of Saint Bernard Fire Station.
The activity was conducted in coordination with the concerned health personnel and local stakeholders to support the Department of Health’s efforts in preventing the spread of Measles and Rubella and ensuring the protection of children through vaccination.
BFP Saint Bernard Fire Station personnel actively participated in the said program and assisted in maintaining the orderly and safe conduct of the vaccination activity.
