LTO REMINDS VEHICLE DEALERS: TIMELY REGISTRATION PROCESSING IS A RESPONSIBILITY

May pananagutan ang mga authorized dealers sa timely processing ng registration, plaka, at mga kinakailangang dokumento ng bagong sasakyan o motorsiklo.

📌 7 DAYS — binigyang-diin bilang panahon para matapos ang processing.
📌 11 DAYS — sinabi bilang karaniwang timeframe hanggang matanggap ng customer ang documents/plaka.

Hindi dapat ipasa sa customer ang penalties o inconvenience na resulta ng pagkukulang ng dealer. Hindi rin dapat gawing blanket excuse ang “system problem” kung hindi naman ito ang tunay na dahilan ng delay.

Tinukoy rin ang practice ng ilang dealers na nag-iipon muna ng maraming transactions bago iproseso ang registration.

Ang mga dealer na mapatunayang lumalabag ay maaaring humarap sa show-cause proceedings at kaukulang penalties.

Kung nakakaranas ng unreasonable delay, maaaring magsumbong sa LTO. Mainam na ihanda ang Sales Invoice o proof of purchase bilang supporting document ng complaint.

Para sa mga bagong vehicle owners: Know your rights. Keep your documents. And report unreasonable delays.

Note: Ang eksaktong 7-day at 11-day requirements ay dapat i-reference sa applicable LTO memorandum/order at legal basis upang maiwasan ang maling interpretation ng regulations.

📢 PUBLIC ADVISORY

LTO MC No. MVL-2026-5314 or The Revised Guidelines on the Use of Improvised/Temporary Plate and Prohibition on the Use of Fake License Plates Pursuant to LTO MC VDM-2025-4674 and LTO Memorandum dated 13 October 2025.

The Land Transportation Office reminds all motorists on the use of improvised/temporary plates and the prohibition on fake license plates. Full compliance with the proper display of official LTO-issued plates or duly authorized and compliant improvised/temporary plates is required.

⚠️ PENALTIES: Violations may result in a ₱5,000 administrative fine, removal and confiscation of the unauthorized plate, and possible impoundment of the motor vehicle, with applicable impounding and storage fees.

📌 REMEMBER: Use only plates that are officially issued or properly authorized by the LTO.

Please be informed that, effective 22 August 2026, printing of Driver's License Cards will only be during weekdays or Mondays to Fridays since LTO Roxas City District Office will be CLOSED EVERY SATURDAYS.

📌Note: DL card releasing schedule is from 3:00pm - 5:00pm

Kaugnay ng mga naging sunod-sunod na isyu na nakaapekto sa Land Transportation Management System (LTMS), at upang matiyak ang tuloy-tuloy na pagbibigay ng serbisyo at mabigyan ang publiko ng sapat na pagkakataong makapagproseso ng kanilang mga transaksyon nang walang karagdagang bayarin, ipinatutupad ang Memorandum Circular No. MVL-2026-5271.

Pinalalawig hanggang sa susunod na abiso ang bisa ng mga sumusunod na mag-e-expire simula Hulyo 1, 2026:

• Motor Vehicle Registration
• Driver's License
• Conductor's License
• Student Permit
• Medical Certificate

Walang sisingiling late fees o penalties para sa lahat ng renewal na sakop ng nasabing extension habang epektibo ang Memorandum Circular.
