The members of the Municipal CBMS Coordinating Board, or “MCCB,” chaired by Municipal Mayor, Atty. Bellarmin A. Flores II, convened on May 14, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. in the municipal hall to discuss the upcoming 2027 nationwide CBMS data gathering in Rosario.

This upcoming project has always been vital in continuously updating data gathered from previous CBMS initiatives, specifically in 2022 and 2024. The information has been critically used in local planning, particularly in the ongoing draft of the Climate and Disaster Risk Assessment, or “CDRA,” a technical document that serves as a prerequisite for updating land use and development plans in Rosario.

📈 Training on R Programming and Data Management

The Municipal Government of Rosario, La Union, through the Office of the Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator, participated in a five-day training workshop on R Programming and data management organized by the PSA La Union Provincial Statistical Office at J&V Hotel and Resort in Brgy. Sevilla, San Fernando City, La Union. This training is vital as Rosario continues to strengthen its data management capabilities for the CBMS and, more importantly, in the field of local planning. The event was attended by various municipalities, including representatives from the Provincial Government of La Union.

• Mass Wedding: 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟴, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
• Sports activities that have already started prior to the crisis
