🎨 CALL FOR ARTISTS
LIVE-IN ART RESIDENCY MURAL WORKSHOP AND EXHIBIT

The Local Government Unit of Quirino is seeking one talented artist to represent our municipality in the upcoming Live-In Art Residency Mural Workshop and Exhibit. Please note that the workshop is organized externally and LGU Quirino is solely responsible for nominating a representative.

Venue: EcoPark, Palacapac, Candon City & Stay-Lite Hotel

Important Details:
• All expenses for the selected delegate will be fully covered.
• The artist is expected to develop their portfolio as part of the workshop activities.
• The delegate must commit to attending and completing the full 15-day workshop.

Workshop Duration:
April 13–29, 2026 (15 consecutive days, no breaks)
Soft Launch: March 15, 2026

Delegate Requirements:
1. Portfolio consisting of 10 artworks
2. Brief resume
3. Art bio sheet (to be provided by the organizers)

Interested applicants are encouraged to submit the required documents to the Tourism Office for evaluation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented artist to represent LGU Quirino and further develop their professional portfolio.

The hidden beauty of Tikeng River 🏞️
Featuring "PAONG FALLS" 💦💧🏞️⛰️🪨

Location: Brgy. Suagayan, Quirino, Ilocos Sur

📌For now we only encourage adventurous/adventuresome people to visit the place. (challenging ang daan)
📌1-2 hr. trek + rock climb (kalipkip) + swim (kasama na jan ang pahinga at picture picture 😁)

📌Swimmer or not it's advisable to bring your floats/life vests with you para ma enjoy mo, especially kung dika marunong lumangoy.

📌Nakatago ung falls kaya kailangan lumangoy pra ma picture'an ng maganda. 🏊
📌Magdala ng waterproof pouch ng inyong mga cellphone para hindi mabasa, pwede din cellophane ng ice kung wala naman 😁
📌Magbaon ng sapat na tubig at pagkain

✅Super worth it ang hirap at pagod pag nakita mo na ang napakagandang waterfalls. 👌🤩

Forever Our Queen. 👑

Your journey in the Search for Miss Ilocos Sur 2026 may have reached its final chapter, but the pride you brought to Am-amay ay Quirino will always remain.

Miss Almira Mae Crisostomo stood on the provincial stage with grace, courage, and dignity carrying our culture, identity, and name with honor. That alone is a victory we celebrate.

We share her supposed final gown a symbol of the hard work, dedication, and heart she poured into this journey.

We also extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who supported, prayed for, cheered, and believed in her throughout this journey. Your encouragement meant so much.

Our heartfelt appreciation as well to her manager, Miss Llouise Aluyen, for the guidance, dedication, and unwavering support given to Miss Almira every step of the way.

Support Miss Quirino at the Coronation Night! 👑

Miss Almira Mae Crisostomo will shine at the Search for Miss Ilocos Sur 2026 Coronation tomorrow at 7:00 PM in Chavit Coliseum. For those unable to attend in person, the event can be watched live on The Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur official page.

The Municipality of Quirino will also provide transportation for those who wish to attend. Kindly contact us to reserve your seat.

Let us all extend our support as Almira proudly represents Am-amay ay Quirino, showcasing our culture, pride, and heritage on the provincial stage.

Miss Quirino in four categories tonight during the Preliminary Competition of the Search for Miss Ilocos Sur 2026:

• Local Festival Costume
• Swimsuit
• Abel Casual Attire
• Evening Gown

She proudly represents the Municipality of Quirino, showcasing confidence, cultural pride, and elegance in every category.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Miss Almira for representing our municipality with grace and pride, and to the Local Government Unit of Quirino, under the leadership of Municipal Mayor Hon. Atty. Jemarose G. Gomintong, for their unwavering support.

We also express our heartfelt thanks to the Provincial Government of Ilocos Sur, under the leadership of Governor Jeremias “Jerry” Singson, for providing this remarkable platform that highlights the talent, beauty, and cultural heritage of our municipalities. Their continued encouragement and support make it possible for our candidates to shine and showcase the richness of Ilocano tradition on the provincial stage.
