In its continuing commitment to support the successful reintegration of Former Members of Non-State Armed Groups (FMNSAGs), the Peace and Development Buong Bansa Mapayapa (PDBBM) National Program Management Office (NPMO), in coordination with DSWD Field Office IX, conducted a series of Social Case Management Service (SCMS) activities at the 106th Infantry (Tigpanalipod) Battalion, 1ID, PA. The activities included a Focused Group Discussion (FGD) with FMNSAG beneficiaries on June 9, 2026, and a monitoring and assessment activity with Case Managers on June 10, 2026.
The Focused Group Discussion provided an avenue for FMNSAG beneficiaries to openly share their experiences, challenges, and progress in their reintegration journey. Insights gathered during the discussion enabled the team to better understand the beneficiaries' present circumstances, identify emerging concerns, and validate the effectiveness of interventions provided under the Social Case Management Service (SCMS). The activity also generated valuable recommendations that will help improve future program implementation and support mechanisms.
Alongside the beneficiary engagement, the National Program Management Office (NPMO) carried out a monitoring and assessment activity with the Case Managers, Team Leaders (TLs), and Regional Program Coordinator (RPC) Jayson L. Elias. The activity focused on reviewing case management processes, assessing documentation and reporting systems, and examining the overall implementation of SCMS in the field. It also served as a venue for knowledge sharing and identifying strategies to further improve service delivery and case management practices.
As former combatants continue their journey toward a peaceful and productive life, DSWD-PDBBM remains steadfast in providing guidance, support, and opportunities through the Social Case Management Service. Through sustained engagement and responsive interventions, the program helps empower beneficiaries and their families to become active contributors to the development of their communities.
