The 903rd (KPI) Signal Battalion successfully rendered vital communication and signal support during the three-consecutive-week Field Training Exercises (FTX) of the Reserve Command, AFP (RESCOM, AFP). Held across three consecutive weekendsโAugust 15 to 16, August 22 to 23, and August 29 to 30, 2026โour dedicated signalers established, maintained, and operated the complete radio communication network utilized throughout the entire duration of the training, ensuring seamless command and control for all participating units.
The battalion's leadership was present on the ground to oversee and support operations, led by Battalion Commander LTC Harry R. Gemzon PA (Res), alongside LTC Meliton A. Fulgar PA (Res), Maj Enrique Santos PA (Res), Maj Melvin M. Bacani PA (Res), 1Lt Rodolfo V. Torres PA (Res), and MSG Donato Santiago PA (Res) โ KPI Rizal Governor, with the vital support of other officers who contributed through donations and resources. A major highlight of this operational support occurred during the second weekend (August 22โ23), when our battalion directly conducted the Military Orientation Training (MOT). The unit was honored by the official visit of RESCOM, AFP Commander, BGen. Ferdinand Geminic P. Ramirez PA (MNSA), who inspected our signal setup and training operationsโa distinct privilege as our week was the exclusive FTX phase graced by the Commander among the three-week series.
In collaboration with Dynamic Global Soft Inc., the battalion deployed DTalk, an innovative tactical communication solution developed specifically to modernize field operations. Elevating capabilities beyond traditional analog radio systems, DTalk provided a high-tech, advanced communication setup that delivered enhanced reliability, clearer transmissions, and superior operational integration throughout the exercise.
This sustained three-week effort underscores the unwavering commitment of the 903rd (KPI) Signal Battalion to provide dependable communications and tactical signal capabilities whenever and wherever called upon. Through relentless service and technical expertise, our officers and enlisted personnel continue to demonstrate that seamless communication remains the backbone of operational readiness and success.
