๐๐€๐๐Ž๐Ž๐‘๐ˆ๐: Pormal na binuksan ng Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) ang pagdiriwang ng ika-10 National ICT Month na ginanap sa University of the Philippines Visayas (UPV) Auditorium, Iloilo City, sa ilalim ng temang โ€œIsang Dekadang Digital: Konektado sa Puso at Serbisyo.โ€

Tampok sa kick-off ang pag-activate ng 2,020 Free Wi-Fi sites, pagpalawak ng GovNet, at pagturnover ng laptops at printer para sa Iloilo City Government Innovation Hub sa Western Visayas, bilang bahagi ng patuloy na pagtugon sa utos ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na palawakin ang internet access sa mga public schools, hospitals, health centers, at mga pampublikong lugar na may limitadong koneksyon.

Nagkaisa ang mga kinatawan mula sa DepEd, State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), lokal na pamahalaan, mga benepisyaryo, at iba pang mga katuwang upang ipagdiwang ang sampung taon ng digital na pagbabago at pagtibayin ang pangakong isulong ang isang mas konektado, inklusibo, at digitally empowered na Bagong Pilipinas.

Sa isang dekada ng DICT, pinatutunayan na ang teknolohiya ay naging daan upang mapalapit ang serbisyo sa mamamayan, mabuksan ang mas maraming oportunidad sa edukasyon at kabuhayan, at mapalakas ang ugnayan ng mga komunidad sa buong bansa.

NATIONAL ICT MONTH 2026 | CALENDAR OF ACTIVITIES

Samahan ang Department of Information and Communications Technology sa opisyal na pagdiriwang ng National ICT Month 2026, kasabay ng ika-10 anibersaryo ng DICT. Isang dekada ng tuloy-tuloy na digital transformation: mas pinalawak na connectivity, mas matibay na cybersecurity, at mas mabilis at mas inklusibong digital public service para sa bawat Pilipino.

Sa buong buwan ng Hunyo, hatid natin ang mga lingguhang activities na may temang konektado sa tunay na pangangailangan ng tao at komunidad:

WEEK 1: Konektado Tayo Sa Kapehan
Focus sa education at learning. Mga usapan sa schools at communities kung paano pinalalawak ng connectivity ang access sa quality education, digital tools, at mas magandang learning opportunities para sa bawat estudyante.

WEEK 2: Cyber Bayanihan
Tungkol sa online safety at digital responsibility. Sama-samang pag-aaral kung paano protektahan ang sarili laban sa scams, misinformation, at cyber threats, dahil ang cybersecurity ay shared responsibility.

WEEK 3: Digital Workforce Week
Para sa future-ready Filipinos. Skills development, AI readiness, freelancing, at digital careers na magbubukas ng mas maraming oportunidad sa global digital economy.

WEEK 4: Walang Iwanan Caravan (eGov Super App on Wheels)
Government services diretso sa communities. Mobile digital hubs para mas mapadali ang access sa serbisyong publiko, mas mabilis, mas simple, at mas malapit sa tao.

WEEK 5: Bayani sa Last Mile Awards
Pagbibigay-pugay sa mga tunay na digital heroes: LGUs, teachers, tech partners, at communities na tumulong para maabot ang last mile at masigurong walang naiiwan.

Lahat ng ito ay bahagi ng iisang layunin: isang mas open, transparent, at accessible na gobyerno, alinsunod sa direktiba ng Pangulo at isang Digital Pilipinas na para sa lahat.

Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng ika-10 anibersaryo ng DICT ngayong Hunyo, tampok sa National ICT Month 2026 ang temang โ€œIsang Dekadang Digital: Konektado sa Puso at Serbisyo,โ€ na nagbibigay-pugay sa isang dekada ng pagsusulong ng digital transformation, pagpapaigting ng seguridad sa cyberspace, pagpapalawak ng connectivity, pagbubukas ng digital na opportunidad, at paghahatid ng mas mahusay na serbisyong digital para sa bawat Pilipino.

Pangungunahan ni DICT Undersecretary and Chief of Staff Faye Condez-De Sagon kasama ang mga opisyal ng Departamento, ang National ICT Month 2026 Kick-Off Ceremony. Susundan ito ng Kapihan sa DICT, kung saan ibabahagi ng mga DICT Regional Offices ang mga programa, inisyatiba, at tagumpay ng ahensya tungo sa mas konektado, ligtas, inklusibo, at digitally empowered na Bagong Pilipinas.

Bahagi ito ng pagtupad sa utos ng Pangulo na gawing mas bukas, mas malinaw, at mas accessible ang pamahalaan para sa bawat Pilipino, upang matiyak na walang Pilipinong maiiwan sa digital na pag-unlad.
