Connecting ASEAN Scholarship to Practice

The ASEAN Studies Program of FMDS, UPOU reached 580 participants across five key regional engagements during ASEAN Month. Through cyber forums, NCR regional dialogues, and the ASEAN Studies Lecture Series (ASLS), the program continues to advance regional awareness, microcredentials, and borderless education.

2026 ASEAN-Korea Young Scholar Research Grant (YSRG)

The Korean Association of Southeast Asian Studies (KASEAS) is pleased to announce the 2026 ASEAN-Korea Young Scholar Research Grant (YSRG). This grant supports postgraduate researchers from ASEAN Member States and the Republic of Korea as part of the ASEAN-Korea Platform for Great Minds (AKPGM) project supported by the Government of the Republic of Korea through the ASEAN-Korea Cooperation Fund (AKCF).

The YSRG aims to foster the next generation of Southeast Asianists by supporting fieldwork that advances understanding of Southeast Asia, ASEAN–Korea relations, and broader regional dynamics through locally grounded research and academic exchange.

Due to the inclement weather brought by the enhanced southwest monsoon (habagat) and the suspension of all face-to-face classes at all levels in public and private schools on 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, (𝟏𝟖 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔) the scheduled ASEAN Campus Connect and Youth Leadership Summit: Empowering Global and Future-Ready Student Leaders in NCR” is hereby 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐥 𝐟𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞.

The Embassy of Belgium in Manila is looking for a dynamic intern to join its Political Section / Public Diplomacy team starting September 2026 (2027 intake for advanced screening as well).

✅ Must be part of an ongoing university program;
✅ Minimum duration of 2 months (3 months preferred)
✅ Follows Embassy working hours / FULL TIME;
