Philippine National Law Week is coming this September!
NEW ISSUANCE: Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 640, s. 1995, the third week of September is observed as Philippine National Law Week, while 19 September is designated as Law Day under Presidential Proclamation No. 1477, s. 1975.
In observance of this significant occasion, all Legal Education Institutions (LEIs) are enjoined to organize meaningful academic, developmental, and socio-civic activities that promote legal education, professional formation, the rule of law, human rights, and public service.
The LEB will likewise conduct a series of online and on-site activities for the legal education community, including:
โข The Third Senator Edgardo J. Angara Lecture Series
โข Mental Health Awareness Webinar for Law Students
โข Reimagining Legal Education Through Human Rights: A National Forum on Advancing Human Rights Education in Philippine Legal Education
โข Training for Law Librarians and Kapihan with the Network of Academic Law Librarians
The LEB encourages all LEI administrators, faculty members, and law students to actively participate in and support the 2026 Philippine National Law Week celebration.
Together, let us strengthen legal education, uphold the rule of law, and foster a legal profession committed to justice, human rights, and public service.
