Tipik sa Kalampusan sa Davao Occidental Corporate and Cluster Farming Program sa Malita

Uban sa dakong kalipay ug paglaum, opisyal nga gipahigayon ang seremonyal nga pagtanom alang sa program sa pagpananum og kape sa Sitio Guisok, LGU Malita. Ang maong katumanan usa ka dakong lakang padulong sa mas hamugaway nga panginabuhian sa mga kaubang mag-uuma nga aktibong misalmot ug nipakita sa ilang bug-os pagsuporta sa maong proyekto.

Kini nga programa nagmalampuson pinaagi sa pakigtambayayong sa Congressional Office sa atong Kongresista, Hon. Claude P. Bautista, ug sa Munisipyo sa Malita sa panguna ni Mayor Ismo Bautista. Nagmalampuson usab kini tungod sa hugot nga suporta sa nagkalain-laing kaabag nga ahensya sa kagamhanan sama sa Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR), ug sa mga nagkadaiyang asosasyon sa komunidad sa Malita.

Mas makahuluganon ug masadyaon ang tibuok nga programa pinaagi sa usa ka tradisyonal nga ritwal nga gihimo sa lumad nga tribu sa maong sitio. Ang maong ritwal gipahigayon aron mangayo og kabuhian, panalangin, ug kalampusan alang sa paglambo sa maong tanoman sa kape ug sa tibuok komunidad.

GROWING COFFEE, BUILDING ENTERPRISE, STRENGTHENING COMMUNITIES

The establishment of coffee farms is not simply about putting seedlings into the soil. It is about planting the foundation for a long-term agricultural enterprise, creating sustainable livelihood opportunities, strengthening farmers' organizations, and building a local economy anchored on the province's own productive resources.

The success of this Coffee Development Program is anchored on the convergence of the Congressional Office, the Local Government Units, the Barangay LGUs of Datu Danwata, Demoloc, and Little Baguio, and the organized coffee farmers’ associations and collaboration with the partners in the National Government Agencies such as the DSWD through Lawa @ Binhi Program—bringing together leadership, resources, local support, and community participation toward a common development goal. This collaborative effort strengthens the foundation for establishing productive coffee farms, empowering farmers, developing coffee as a viable enterprise, and creating sustainable livelihood and investment opportunities for the communities. More than a partnership, this convergence demonstrates that shared commitment and collective action can transform coffee farming into a catalyst for inclusive and sustainable local economic development.
