QCPD Showcases Weeklong Administrative Accomplishments
Quezon City, September 6, 2026 — The Quezon City Police District (QCPD), under the leadership of Acting District Director, Police Brigadier General (PBGEN) CHRISTOPHER OLAZO, showcased its administrative accomplishments from August 30 to September 5, 2026, highlighting key efforts in personnel welfare, healthcare services, logistics, recognition of outstanding performance, and community engagement.
The QCPD Medical and Dental Unit, led by Police Lieutenant Colonel (PLTCOL) CLARISSA MODES, provided healthcare services to 2,664 beneficiaries, including QCPD personnel, their dependents, civilians, and Persons Under Police Custody (PUPCs). Services rendered during the week included health monitoring of PUPCs, medical consultations and treatment, chest X-ray examinations, dental services, and Body Mass Index reassessment (reweighing) of personnel from police stations for September 2026.
In recognition of exemplary service, the District Personnel Records and Management Division conferred 5,146 commendations and 260 awards to deserving QCPD personnel in recognition of their dedication, discipline, and outstanding performance in public service.
As part of its community policing efforts, the District Community Affairs and Development Division conducted 266 community engagement activities across various barangays in Quezon City, strengthening trust, cooperation, and shared responsibility in maintaining peace and order.
To ensure operational readiness, the District Logistics Division facilitated the repair and maintenance of 11 service vehicles, enhancing the mobility and response capability of QCPD police stations and operating units.
The QCPD Damayan Program, through the Office of the District Executive Senior Police Office, also extended PhP60,000.00 in burial assistance to three QCPD personnel, helping alleviate the financial burden on their families during times of bereavement. Meanwhile, three QCPD Kids Care beneficiaries received a total of PhP15,000.00 in medical assistance.
