๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐: TWO MOST WANTED PERSONS ARRESTED IN SEPARATE OPERATIONS IN PUERTO PRINCESA CITY
PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, PALAWAN โ The Puerto Princesa City Police Office (PPCPO), under the leadership of PCOL DAVID A TOCTOCAN JR, Officer-in-Charge, in coordination with other law enforcement units, successfully arrested two Most Wanted Persons (MWPs) in separate operations conducted on June 4, 2026. The arrests form part of the intensified campaign of the Philippine National Police against wanted persons and underscore PPCPOโs unwavering commitment to ensuring that justice is served and communities remain safe and secure.
The first operation was conducted at approximately 10:30 AM in Barangay Lucbuan, Puerto Princesa City, by personnel of Police Station 5 (PS5), led by PCPT JOHN RHAIN BAZA, Acting Station Commander, together with the City Intelligence Team (CIT) and Puerto Princesa City Regional Intelligence Unit 4B (PPC RIU4B).
A 22-year-old married fisherman and resident of Barangay San Juan, Aborlan, Palawan, was arrested. The individual is listed as the Top 8 Regional Most Wanted Person and Top 6 Provincial Most Wanted Person.
The individual was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest dated October 6, 2025, issued by Hon. Jocelyn Sundiang Dilig, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Fourth Judicial Region, Branch 47, Puerto Princesa City, for the crime of Statutory R**e under Article 266-A, Paragraph 1(d) of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 11648, docketed under Criminal Case No. 44998. No bail was recommended for temporary liberty.
In a separate operation conducted at approximately 11:30 AM in Barangay Mangingisda, Puerto Princesa City, the Tracker Team of CIDG Puerto Princesa City Field Unit (CFU), led by PLT FERDINAND B MANLONGAT, together with the Warrant and Intelligence Operatives of Police Station 3 under the supervision of PCPT DIOSCORO S ARCHEDERA, Acting Station Commander, successfully arrested a 59-year-old married self-employed resident of Barangay Mangingisda, Puerto Princesa City.
The individual is listed as the No. 10 Regional Most Wanted Person and No. 2 City Most Wanted Person.
The arrest was effected by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest dated June 3, 2026, issued by Hon. Arlene Bayuga Guillen, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Fourth Judicial Region, Branch 13 (Family Court), Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, for the crime of Qualified R**e of a Minor under Article 266-B of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 11648, docketed under Criminal Case No. 45375. No bail was recommended for temporary liberty.
Following their arrests, the individuals were informed of the nature of their arrests and their constitutional rights under the Miranda Doctrine and the Anti-Torture Act. They are currently under the custody of the respective operating units for documentation and proper disposition before turnover to the issuing courts.
