"𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘄𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗣𝗢 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶-𝗱𝗿𝘂𝗴 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀."

From July 21 to 27, 2025, the Palawan Police Provincial Office under the leadership of Acting Provincial Director, Police Colonel Jovito M Atanacio, achieved a significant milestone in its campaign against illegal drugs. A successful anti-drug operation led to the arrest of one suspect and the confiscation of 3.25 grams of illegal drugs with an estimated street value of ₱15,950.00.

This accomplishment highlights the unwavering dedication of Palawan PPO in safeguarding the welfare of the community and strengthening law enforcement’s stand against the proliferation of illegal substances.

"DDB Nanguna sa Pagsasanay ng mga LGU para sa Drug Rehabilitation, Kaagapay ang PADAP"

Matagumpay na isinagawa ang dalawang-araw na pagsasanay para sa mga miyembro ng Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Councils o MADACs sa buong Palawan, na may temang “Capacitating Local Government Units on Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program and Treatment and Rehabilitation Process.”

Ginawa ito noong Hulyo 16 hanggang 17, 2025 sa Aziza Hotel sa Barangay San Pedro, Lungsod ng Puerto Princesa.

Aabot sa 65 kalahok mula sa iba’t ibang bayan ang naging bahagi ng matagumpay na pagsasanay. Isinagawa ito sa inisyatibo ng Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB), katuwang ang Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council - Province of Palawan (PADAP) sa pamumuno ni Program Manager Roque Dela Peña. Masigasig ding lumahok ang mga katuwang na ahensya tulad ng Palawan Police Provincial Office Palawan PPO (PALPPO), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency PDEA Top Stories (PDEA), at ang Probation and Parole Office, na naging mahalagang bahagi ng talakayan at pagbabahagi ng kaalaman ukol sa mas pinatibay na rehabilitasyon at interbensyon sa mga drug dependents.

Tampok sa unang araw ng pagsasanay ang mga mahahalagang paksa gaya ng Philippine Anti-Illegal Drugs Strategy (PADS), National Household Survey, Integrated Drug Monitoring and Reporting Information System (IDMRIS), pati na rin ang usapin sa Cybersecurity alinsunod sa Data Privacy Act.

Tinalakay rin ang mga probisyon ng RA 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, at ang mga proseso sa Treatment and Rehabilitation.

Sa ikalawang araw, binigyang-pansin naman ang paggamit ng mga online reporting systems tulad ng ADAARS, TRAIS, at ADAC-RS. Sinundan ito ng hands-on training para sa encoding ng impormasyon ng mga Persons Who Use Drugs (PWUDs), screening at assessment, paggawa ng intervention plans, data correction at sharing, at pag-generate ng ulat gamit ang offline modules.

Layon ng programa na mapalawak ang kaalaman ng mga miyembro ng MADAC upang mas mahusay nilang magampanan ang kanilang mga tungkulin at mas mapabilis ang pagtugon sa mga usapin kaugnay ng iligal na droga sa kani-kanilang mga nasasakupan.

The Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council led the 2nd Quarter Council Meeting this year at the 2A Governors Conference Room on June 19, 2025, Thursday. Meeting was attended by various agencies, including PDEA, PNP, DILG, PIO, PSWDO, PHO, SK Federation, as well as representatives from each municipality and stakeholders.

The meeting discussed the activities for this year that will help in the fight against illegal drugs.
