CAMP HIGINIO A. MENDOZA, SR., Puerto Princesa City โ The Palawan Police Provincial Office (Palawan PPO), under the leadership of PCOL JOEL D CASUPANAN, Provincial Director, intensified its campaign against wanted persons following the successful arrest of three (3) wanted individuals, including the Rank No. 7 Provincial-Level Most Wanted Person, in separate manhunt operations conducted across Palawan on September 7, 2026.
In Rizal, Palawan, personnel of Rizal MPS, in coordination with the Palawan Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) and 1st PMFC-Palawan PPO, arrested a 55-year-old married farmer at Brgy. Latud, Rizal, Palawan, by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued on August 12, 2026, by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 165, Brookeโs Point, Palawan, for violation of Section 92 in relation to Section 3 of Republic Act No. 10654, or the Philippine Fisheries Code, with recommended bail of โฑ60,000.00.
Meanwhile, personnel of Dumaran MPS, in coordination with Rizal MPS, 2nd PPMFC, 1st PPMFC, and PIU-Palawan PPO, arrested a 51-year-old fisherman at Brgy. Magsaysay, Dumaran, Palawan. The arrest was effected by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued on March 21, 2025, by the Municipal Circuit Trial Court, Araceli-Dumaran, Palawan, for Acts of Lasciviousness under Article 336 of the Revised Penal Code, with recommended bail of โฑ12,000.00.
In a separate operation in Brgy. Riotuba, Bataraza, personnel of Bataraza MPS, in coordination with PIU-Palawan PPO, 3rd Platoon 1st Palawan PMFC, 401st B MC RMFB, SOU MG Riotuba SBC, and PHPT-HPG, successfully arrested the 62-year-old Rank No. 7 Provincial-Level Most Wanted Person. The arrest was carried out by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued on August 5, 2026, by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 165, Brookeโs Point, Palawan, for Forcible Abduction with R**e under Article 342 and Article 266-A(1)(b) of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 8353, with no bail recommended.
All three arrested wanted persons are currently under the custody of their respective police stations for documentation and proper disposition.
