CAMP HIGINIO A. MENDOZA, SR., Puerto Princesa City – The Palawan Police Provincial Office (Palawan PPO), under the leadership of PCOL JOEL D CASUPANAN, Provincial Director, intensified its campaign against wanted persons following the successful arrest of three (3) wanted individuals, including the Rank No. 7 Provincial-Level Most Wanted Person, in separate manhunt operations conducted across Palawan on September 7, 2026.

In Rizal, Palawan, personnel of Rizal MPS, in coordination with the Palawan Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) and 1st PMFC-Palawan PPO, arrested a 55-year-old married farmer at Brgy. Latud, Rizal, Palawan, by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued on August 12, 2026, by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 165, Brooke’s Point, Palawan, for violation of Section 92 in relation to Section 3 of Republic Act No. 10654, or the Philippine Fisheries Code, with recommended bail of ₱60,000.00.

Meanwhile, personnel of Dumaran MPS, in coordination with Rizal MPS, 2nd PPMFC, 1st PPMFC, and PIU-Palawan PPO, arrested a 51-year-old fisherman at Brgy. Magsaysay, Dumaran, Palawan. The arrest was effected by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued on March 21, 2025, by the Municipal Circuit Trial Court, Araceli-Dumaran, Palawan, for Acts of Lasciviousness under Article 336 of the Revised Penal Code, with recommended bail of ₱12,000.00.

In a separate operation in Brgy. Riotuba, Bataraza, personnel of Bataraza MPS, in coordination with PIU-Palawan PPO, 3rd Platoon 1st Palawan PMFC, 401st B MC RMFB, SOU MG Riotuba SBC, and PHPT-HPG, successfully arrested the 62-year-old Rank No. 7 Provincial-Level Most Wanted Person. The arrest was carried out by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued on August 5, 2026, by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 165, Brooke’s Point, Palawan, for Forcible Abduction with R**e under Article 342 and Article 266-A(1)(b) of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 8353, with no bail recommended.

All three arrested wanted persons are currently under the custody of their respective police stations for documentation and proper disposition.

“I commend all personnel involved for their dedication, vigilance, and strong coordination that led to the successful arrest of these wanted persons, including a Provincial-Level Most Wanted Person. We will continue to intensify our manhunt operations and ensure that wanted individuals are brought before the proper courts to face the law,” PCOL Casupanan said.

The Palawan Police Provincial Office remains steadfast in intensifying its campaign against wanted persons through sustained intelligence gathering, focused manhunt operations, and strengthened coordination among police units and partner agencies.

CAMP HIGINIO A. MENDOZA, SR., Puerto Princesa City – The Palawan Police Provincial Office (Palawan PPO), under the leadership of PCOL JOEL D CASUPANAN, Provincial Director, through the Bataraza Municipal Police Station (BMPS), led by PMAJ SIR DHAYRIUS L REDONDO, ACOP, in coordination with the Palawan Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), 3rd Platoon of 1st Palawan PMFC, 401st B MC RMFB, SOU MG Riotuba SBC, and PHPT-HPG, successfully arrested the Rank No. 6 Provincial-Level Most Wanted Person during a manhunt operation conducted in Brgy. Riotuba, Bataraza, Palawan, on September 7, 2026.

Arrested was a 63-year-old male, married, jobless, and a resident of Brgy. Riotuba, Bataraza, Palawan. He was apprehended by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest dated August 5, 2026, issued by the Honorable Panfilo Intud Sala Jr., Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, 4th Judicial Region, Branch 165, Brooke’s Point, Palawan, for alleged violation of Forcible Abduction with R**e under Article 342 and Article 266-A(1)(B) of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 8353, with no bail recommended.

The arrested wanted person was informed of the nature and cause of his arrest and apprised of his constitutional rights in a language known to and understood by him. He is currently under the custody of Bataraza MPS for proper documentation and disposition.

PCOL CASUPANAN commended the operating personnel for their successful and coordinated manhunt operation, emphasizing the importance of sustained intelligence-driven operations and close coordination among police units in ensuring that wanted persons are brought before the proper courts.

“I commend the personnel of Bataraza MPS and the supporting units for their successful and coordinated efforts in apprehending the Rank No. 6 Provincial-Level Most Wanted Person. We will continue to intensify our manhunt operations and ensure that wanted persons are brought before the proper courts,” he said.

The Palawan Police Provincial Office (Palawan PPO), under the leadership of PCOL JOEL D CASUPANAN, Provincial Director, virtually participated in the Traditional Monday Flag-Raising Ceremony on September 7, 2026, at the Palawan PPO Multi-Purpose Hall in Barangay Tiniguiban, Puerto Princesa City.

A highlight of the ceremony was the conferment of the Medalya ng Kagalingan upon PCOL Casupanan in recognition of his exemplary leadership and significant contribution to the successful anti-illegal drug operation conducted on June 26, 2026, in Barangay New Agutaya, San Vicente, Palawan. The operation resulted in the arrest of a suspect for violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The same recognition was likewise conferred upon PSSg Ernesto P Paaco and Pat Jeffrey P Tambancaya of the San Vicente Municipal Police Station (MPS) for their significant contributions to the successful operation.

The recognition is more than just a medal—it is a testament to dedication, teamwork, and unwavering commitment to the fight against illegal drugs. It reflects the Palawan PPO’s continuing resolve to protect communities, uphold the law, and deliver responsive, effective, and professional police service.

CAMP HIGINIO A. MENDOZA, SR., Puerto Princesa City – The Palawan Police Provincial Office (Palawan PPO) intensified its manhunt operations against wanted persons following the successful arrest of a 45-year-old fisherman listed as the Rank No. 8 Provincial-Level and Rank No. 1 Municipal-Level Most Wanted Person of Coron, Palawan, at around 3:50 PM on September 6, 2026, in Barangay San Nicolas, Coron, Palawan.

The operation was conducted by personnel of the Coron Municipal Police Station (MPS) under the leadership of PCPT MARK RJ P SIGUE, OIC, in coordination with the Palawan Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), 2nd Special Operations Unit–Maritime Group (2nd SOU-MG) Coron Seaborne Component, and the 4th Platoon, 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (2nd PMFC).

The suspect was apprehended by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest dated July 24, 2026, issued by Hon. Ryan Hartzell C. Balisacan, Acting Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Fourth Judicial Region, Branch 163, Coron, Palawan, for Acts of Lasciviousness under Article 336 of the Revised Penal Code, in relation to Section 5(b) of Republic Act No. 7610. The offense carries a recommended bail of ₱200,000.00 for temporary liberty.

Following his arrest, the individual was brought to the custody of the Coron MPS for proper documentation and appropriate disposition in accordance with existing laws, rules, and procedures.

PCOL JOEL D CASUPANAN, Provincial Director of Palawan PPO, emphasized that the successful arrest reflects the organization's sustained commitment to locating wanted persons and ensuring that individuals with standing warrants are brought before the proper courts to answer the charges filed against them.

“Ang bawat pagkakaaresto ay pagtugon sa serbisyong mabilis, tapat at nararamdaman, at patuloy nating hinahanap ang mga taong may kinakaharap na pananagutan sa batas. Walang dapat mawalan ng pag-asa sa umiiral na hustisya . Patuloy nating ipatutupad ang batas nang may disiplina, propesyonalismo, at paggalang sa karapatan ng bawat isa,” he said.
