📢📢 𝐄𝐍𝐕𝐈-𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐓 𝐌𝐆𝐀 𝐊𝐀-𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐄 ‼️

Taon-taon tuwing buwan ng Hunyo ay ipinagdiriwang sa buong bansa ang Philippine Environment Month sang-ayon sa Proclamation No. 237 bunsod ng United Nations Resolution na nagde-deklara ng ika-5 ng Hunyo bilang World Environment Day.

Bilang pakikiisa ng tanggapan ng MENRO Pozorrubio sa pandaigdigang layunin na ingatan at protektahan ang kapaligiran at likas-yaman, narito ang inihandang mga programa ngayong buwan:

🧹🌊 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐋𝐃 𝐄𝐍𝐕𝐈𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐔𝐏 sa ika-4 ng Hunyo sa Riverside Zone 3 Brgy. Talogtog bahagi ng R.I.V.E.Rs for Life at Adopt-a-River/Estero programs ng DENR-EMB upang panatilihing malinis ang lahat ng ilog at katubigan na umaagos sa Aloragat at Angalacan Rivers.

♻️🧴 𝐏𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓 𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐀 𝐗 𝐑𝐄𝐅𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐃𝐀𝐘 sa ika-12 ng Hunyo kasabay ng pagdiriwang ng Araw ng Kalayaan ay ang kalayaan mula sa single-use plastic na nagdudulot ng polusyon at panganib sa kalusugan at kapaligiran. Maaring ipalit ang PET bottles, tetra packs, atbp plastic para sa bigas at cleaning items.

🌳🌱 𝐏𝐎𝐙𝐎𝐑𝐑𝐔𝐁𝐈𝐎 𝐀𝐑𝐁𝐎𝐑 𝐃𝐀𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 sa ika-19 ng Hunyo ay ang pagsasagawa ng tree-growing bilang implementasyon ng Enhanced Arbor Day Ordinance at Municipal Parks and Green Open Spaces Ordinance sa pagsasakatuparan ng National Greening Program ng gobyerno, Forest for Life: 5M Trees by 2028 ng DENR, at Pangasinan Green Canopy Program sa SLF Site, Zone 6, Brgy. Balacag.

🧤🗑️ 𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐄 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐃𝐀𝐘 sa ika-25 ng Hunyo bilang pagkilala sa ambag ng informal waste sector sa pagpapanatili ng kalinisan at kaayusan at pang-malawakang kontribusyon sa waste management, climate resilience, at risk reduction, isusulong ang pagbubuo ng asosasyon upang kilanlin ang kanilang karapatan at kagalingan.

👥💬 𝐄𝐍𝐕𝐈-𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇 𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐀𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 sa ika-30 ng Hunyo kasama ang mga miyembro ng Solid Waste Management Board na kinasasapian ng sektor mula sa lokal na pamahalaan, barangay, paaralan, CSOs, negosyo, at pribadong sektor upang mas mapalalim pa ang kamalayan at kasanayan sa pangangasiwa ng basura at pagprotekta sa kapaligiran.

Kaya't kabaleyans at kailyans, maging bahagi ng malawak na aksyon at pagkilos upang isulong ang mas malusog, matiwasay, at malinis na Bayan ng Pozorrubio.

All types of shellfish and 𝐀𝐜𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐬𝐩. or alamang gathered from the coastal waters in 𝐁𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐚 in Pangasinan are still 𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 of 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐟𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐏𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧/ 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐱𝐢𝐧 and 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐒𝐀𝐅𝐄 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐇𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐍 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍.

In view of this, the public is advised to refrain from consuming shellfish and “alamang” from the affected areas. Likewise, all stakeholders are directed to refrain from gathering or harvesting, transporting, and marketing of these from the said locations until the advisory is officially lifted, in the interest of public health and safety.

Meanwhile, fish, squid, crabs, and shrimps, among others, that are harvested from these areas, remain safe for consumption, provided that they are fresh, eviscerated, and thoroughly cleaned and washed with running water before cooking.

The cooperation and vigilance of the public and all concerned stakeholders are earnestly sought in strictly observing this advisory to prevent health risks associated with red tide toxins. Authorities will continue to closely monitor the affected areas, and further updates will be issued accordingly. Let us work together to protect public health and ensure food safety until this advisory is officially lifted.

💪💚 BARANGAY KALINISAN, TUNGO SA ISANG MALUSOG AT MATIWASAY NA PAMAYANAN✨🧹

Sa patuloy na implementasyon ng Barangay at Kalinisan Day (BarKaDa), nakilahok ang mga barangays ng Pozorrubio sa pangunguna ng mga Punong Barangays, miyembro ng Sanggunian, tauhan, at volunteers sa pagsasagawa ng lingguhang clean-up drive sa mga pampublikong lugar, lansangan, at katubigan sa komunidad.

Alinsunod ito sa DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2023-133 na naga-atas sa mga barangays na magsagawa ng lingguhang paglilinis sa kanilang nasasakupang lugar.

Inirerekomenda ang pagsasagawa ng clean-up tuwing araw ng Sabado upang mas mahikayat ang malawak na pakikilahok ng mga grupo at indibidwal na may malasakit sa kapaligiran.

Kaya't taos-pusong pasasalamat ang ipinaa-abot ng LGU-MENRO sa mga grupo at indibidwal sa pagpapanatiling maayos, masinop, at malinis ang ating bayan.

Inaanyayahan ang lahat na makilahok sa mga paglilinis na inilulunsad sa inyong komunidad at makibahagi sa mga katulad na gawain dahil shared responsibility natin ang tamang pangangasiwa ng basura at pangangalaga sa kapaligiran.

𝗨𝗥𝗕𝗔𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗦 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗟𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗘𝗠𝗣𝗦 𝗕𝗬 𝗨𝗣 𝗧𝗢 𝟱°𝗖

A study conducted in Singapore revealed that urban “microforests” can lower surrounding temperatures by up to 5°C compared to nearby roadside environments, particularly during the hottest hours of the day. Researchers also found that spots located just 1–2 meters from the forest edge were already 1°C to 4°C cooler than surrounding built-up surfaces.

These compact green spaces act as natural cooling systems by providing shade, releasing moisture into the air, and limiting the amount of heat absorbed by concrete and asphalt. Aside from helping cool cities, microforests also promote biodiversity and make urban communities more comfortable and livable for people.
