Bailan District Hospital Successfully Conducts Early Morning Earthquake and Fire Drill

Bailan District Hospital has successfully conducted its Earthquake and Fire Drill, demonstrating its strong commitment to preparedness, safety, and the protection of patients, healthcare workers, and the community on September 4, 2026.

What makes this drill especially noteworthy is that Bailan District Hospital is the first hospital in the region to conduct an early morning (4:00 AM) earthquake and fire drill, simulating an emergency scenario during the early hours when preparedness and rapid response are critically important. 🌅🚑

The activity tested the hospital’s emergency response protocols, coordination, communication, evacuation procedures, and the readiness of its personnel to respond effectively to disasters and other emergencies.

Preparedness saves lives. Even the smallest steps. Disasters may be unpredictable, but our preparedness should never be. Prepare today, act wisely, and save lives.

🇵🇭 Laro ng Lahi: The Ultimate Team Building — bringing everyone together through classic Filipino games, laughter, teamwork, and the true spirit of bayanihan!

Prepared Today, Safer Tomorrow! 🚨
Our Disaster Management Orientation on Earthquake and Fire Safety was successfully conducted to strengthen awareness, preparedness, and emergency response among our participants.

The orientation provided essential knowledge on what to do before, during, and after an earthquake, as well as proper fire prevention and emergency response procedures. Through this activity, everyone was reminded that preparedness can save lives. 💪🧯

We invited resource speakers who are experts on this field. They are from the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Unit, Pontevedra Fire Sub-Station and Capiz State University DRRM.

Let us continue building a culture of safety, readiness, and resilience in our community. Together, we can be better prepared for any disaster and become a disaster-resilient healthcare. 🌍❤️
