Led by Project Development Officer I, Mark Kleene P. Fantilanan, a meaningful Tree Planting Activity was successfully conducted on August 20, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Culasi Elementary School. The activity brought together the PTA Officers, SGC Officers, SELG and YES-O Officers, learners of Culasi Elementary School, Teaching and Non-Teaching Personnel, and Barangay Officials in a shared commitment to environmental protection and community development. A total of 350 seedlings were planted, symbolizing our collective effort to create a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future. ๐Ÿซ Building the Future: New School Gym Soon to Rise at CES New Site

Culasi Elementary School continues to move forward in strengthening its learning environment as preparations for the construction of the new school gymnasium at the CES New Site, Sitio Bagongon.

A site inspection was conducted by Sir Jonel D. Arcangeles, EdD, Principal II, together with Engr. Mark Kleene P. Fantilanan, Project Development Officer I, in coordination with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) engineers and representatives from AMD Engineering and Construction Supply and Services, the project's contractor. The visit focused on assessing the project site, discussing implementation plans, and ensuring readiness prior to the start of construction.

The project, with a total cost of โ‚ฑ5.9 million, will feature a 21 ร— 30-meter gymnasium and will be implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH). Once completed, the facility will provide a safe and functional venue for school programs, sports activities, and various educational and community events.

๐Ÿค Strengthening Partnerships, Empowering Education!

Culasi Elementary School successfully conducted its School Governance Council (SGC) Organization and Election, attended by representatives from the Religious and Health Sectors, 4Ps, Barangay Council and Officials, SK, Senior Citizens, Alumni Association, and SELG, represented by its President, Clinmar Tryston A. Arcangeles, as the voice of the learners.

The activity was headed by the School Governance Council Chairperson, Sir Jonel D. Arcangeles, EdD, Principal II, who highlighted the vital role of shared governance and strong collaboration among stakeholders in advancing quality education and promoting the best interests of every learner. Together with Ma'am Meriam P. Abool, Mentors' Club President and sir Sunny C. Doroteo, as they facilitated the orientation and organization of the School Governance Council in accordance with DepEd Order No. 26, s. 2022.

NATIONAL CPR DAY | BUILDING LIFE-SAVING SKILLS AT CULASI ELEMENTARY SCHOOL ๐Ÿฉบโค๏ธ

Culasi Elementary School strengthened its commitment to fostering a safe and prepared learning environment through a CPR Orientation and Hands-On Training held on July 17, 2026. The activity gathered the school's teaching and non-teaching personnel, SPTA Officers, SELG President, and School Principal II, Sir Jonel D. Arcangeles, to enhance emergency preparedness and promote a culture of safety within the school community.

The school extends its sincere appreciation to the Philippine Coast Guard โ€“ Nursing Service Sub-Unit, RTC Capiz and the NPCG Medical First Aid Station, RTC Capiz for sharing their expertise through an engaging orientation and hands-on demonstration of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and basic first aid.

Culasi Elementary School conducted its PTA General Assembly for School Year 2026โ€“2027 under the leadership of School Principal, Sir Jonel D. Arcangeles.

The assembly served as an avenue to strengthen the partnership between the school and parents by discussing important matters that directly affect the welfare and success of our learners. Topics presented included school rules and regulations, pupils' attendance and behavior, guidelines on the suspension of classes, Child Protection Policy, and DepEd Order No. 6. (Guidelines on Ensuring a Safe and Motivating Learning Environment) Parents were also oriented on the implementation of the Three-Term Grading System, awards and recognition guidelines, and other important school dates and activities to remember throughout the school year.

The active participation and support of our parents reflect our shared commitment to providing a safe, nurturing, and productive learning environment for every learner.

Together, let us continue to work hand in hand in shaping responsible and disciplined learners.
