The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Region 1 officially launched and activated the 911 Satellite Command Center on 14 March 2026, marking its Go-Live Activation and the start of full operational capability in handling emergency calls across the region.
The milestone event was spearheaded by FSSUPT ANTONIO N RAZAL JR, DSC, Acting Regional Director of BFP Region 1, together with FSUPT ROXANNE S PARADO, Provincial Fire Marshal of BFP Ilocos Norte, joined by distinguished guests, partner agencies and the dedicated uniformed and non-uniformed personnel of BFP Region 1.
Following the successful cutover and system switch conducted on 11โ12 March 2026, the command center is now fully equipped to receive, process and respond to actual emergency calls, ensuring improved coordination, real-time monitoring and faster emergency response within Region 1.
The establishment of the BFP Region 1 911 Satellite Command Center marks a major step in improving communication systems, coordination and the use of modern technology for faster and more reliable public safety services.
Through this initiative, BFP Region 1 reaffirms its commitment to safeguarding lives and properties, delivering prompt and responsive emergency services and building safer, more resilient communities.
