JUST IN: INTER- HIGH BASKETBALL UPDATE
To our fellow athletes and basketball fans,
In solidarity with the provincial government’s call for prudence, we wish to inform the public that the Inter-high Basketball League is officially CANCELLED.
This decision is in strict compliance with Executive Order (EO) No. 13, Series of 2026, issued on April 2, 2026 by the Office of the Governor of Bohol. The order encourages all LGUs, barangays, and community organizations to observe Austerity Measures during foundation days, fiestas, and local celebrations due to prevailing economic challenges.
Section 2 of the EO outlines these measures, and as a responsible community, we are doing our part to prioritize essential needs and fiscal discipline during this time.
However, the Celebration Continues!
While we’ve made the tough call to cancel the tournament, the spirit of our Fiesta remains alive!
Please be advised that other fun and enjoyable activities committed prior to the issuance of the EO will still push through. We are committed to honoring our traditions in a way that is both joyful and mindful of our current situation.
