JOINT SESSION OF THE SK PEDERASYON AND PCYDC
The Pasig City Youth Development Council (PCYDC) and the Pasig SK Pederasyon successfully held a joint session last Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the Temporary Pasig City Hall.
The session primarily focused on the discussion of the feedback, observations, and recommendations of the PCYDC regarding the Programs, Projects, and Activities (PPAs) of the 30 SK Councils in Pasig City. The Council also emphasized the importance of strengthening youth-centered governance and ensuring that SK initiatives remain aligned with the needs and welfare of the youth sector in their respective communities.
Moreover, the discussion highlighted the significant role of the PCYDC in monitoring and evaluating the conduct of SK Regular and Special Sessions to further promote transparency, accountability, and effective legislative practices among SK Councils across the city.
In addition, both the PCYDC and the Pasig SK Pederasyon discussed various potential partnerships, collaborative programs, and future ventures that aim to strengthen youth participation, leadership development, and community engagement. The joint session also served as an avenue for both councils to exchange ideas, reinforce coordination, and foster stronger collaboration in advancing programs and initiatives for the youth of Pasig City.
Through this initiative, the PCYDC and the Pasig SK Pederasyon continue to demonstrate their commitment to empowering young leaders and promoting inclusive, proactive, and progressive youth governance in the city.
