Hindi sapat na malaya tayo sa dayuhan kung tayo naman ay alipin ng ating sariling gobyerno. Panahon na para bumalikwas laban sa mga ganid at sa sistemang nagpapanatili sa ating kahirapan at kahihiyan.

Hindi na dapat pangarap lang ang manatili sa sariling bayan kasama ang ating pamilya. Ngunit ang kalayaang ito ay magsisimula sa loob natin, sa ating integridad, sa ating tapang, at sa pagtalikod sa kawalang-bahala. Hangga’t hindi tayo kumikilos, walang tunay na kalayaan. Hangga’t hindi tayo nagbabago, walang bagong Pilipinas.
