As of 8:00 AM today, 21 August 2026, LPA 08f (formerly "NENENG") is being monitored OUTSIDE the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and has a MEDIUM chance of redeveloping into a Tropical Depression within the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, LPA 08h is being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR and has a MEDIUM chance of developing into a Tropical Depression within the next 24 hours.

The Severe Tropical Storm, with international name "SAUDEL", is also being monitored OUTSIDE the PAR.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.

LOOK | TACTICAL OPERATIONS GROUP 3 RESPONDS TO DROWNING INCIDENT IN CAPAS, TARLAC

The Philippine Air Force, through the Tactical Operations Group 3 (TOG 3), deployed a Search and Rescue (SAR) team to augment ongoing operations following a drowning incident at Lucung River, Brgy. Cub-Cub, Capas, Tarlac, on 13 August 2026.

Upon request of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) Tarlac, TOG 3 deployed a team led by 1LT AGUILA PAF, composed of trained WASAR and SARAT personnel, to coordinate with local responders and support the search operations.

The Philippine Air Force remains committed to responding when communities need help most. Serving with readiness, courage, and compassion.

As of 2:00 AM today, 16 August 2026, the Low Pressure Area (LPA 08e) is being monitored outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and is "UNLIKELY" to develop into a Tropical Depression within the next 24 hours.

Meanwhile, the Tropical Depression being monitored outside the PAR has exited the monitoring domain of PAGASA.

All are advised to monitor updates from DOST-PAGASA.
