The World Bank, through the implementation of the 𝐴𝑐𝑐𝑒𝑙𝑒𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝑊𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑟 𝑆𝑢𝑝𝑝𝑙𝑦 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑆𝑎𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑗𝑒𝑐𝑡 𝑖𝑛 𝑆𝑒𝑙𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑒𝑑 𝐴𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑠 (𝐴𝑊𝑆𝑃𝑆𝐴), has commissioned Innpact Solutions to undertake a 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐂𝐖𝐈𝐒) 𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 across Tagbilaran City, Dauis, and Panglao.

As part of this ongoing assessment, a 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐲 is being conducted to better understand sanitation conditions at the household level, including toilet containment types and desludging practices. The findings from this exercise will help identify key issues and inform the design of relevant and context-specific interventions to improve sanitation conditions across the three LGUS.
